A complete collection of natural lesser rowaforms. This does not include the numerous manners of hybrid that can be produced by mixing different pieces of HiveWear. A brief summary of each form's purpose with respect to  a hive is listed below. For more information about the lesser rowaforms, see this month's Librarian Chyka Talks.

Female Forms:

  • Layer: Lays eggs capable of developing base-level true rowa. Only found in established hives. No threat.
  • Scorpion: Ground hunter. Disables targets with spit and stinger. Only found in established hives, or in environments where the rowa may hunt without restriction. High threat.
  • Scout: Airborne hunter: Disables targets with spit and stinger. Typically only seen in environments where the rowa may hunt without restriction, though intelligent enough to follow the rules where restrictions are in place. High threat.
  • Squirter: Hive defense 'turret'. Disables targets with spit. Only seen in established hives. Moderate threat.
  • Succubus: Tempts targets using pheromones, pit & interactive body parts. Very rare. Typically seen during formal interactions where a recognizable 'female' rowa might be useful to the hive's interests. Moderate threat.
  • Worker: Conducts menial tasks, intelligence gathering, and robot aided hunting in civilized environments. Reduces potential target inhibitions with spit. Seen wherever there are rowa. Low threat.
  • Worm: Disposes of infertile eggs, reduces potential target inhibitions with spit. Modern use to aid in the desensitization of potential targets in civilized environments. Low threat.

Male Forms:

  • Burrowgrub: Male version of worm. Soft soil burrowing. Limited hunting ability in soft soil environments. Multiple bug juice application organs and concealed mandibles. Found wherever there is an established hive. High threat.
  • Captivator: Immobile mounting for hive captives. Several different morphologies, all of which are able to dispense inert nutrients and dispose of target wastes. Some can also dispense bug juice when ordered by the individual hive's queen. Found only within established hives. Moderate threat to targets nearby. Extreme threat to those mounted.
  • Dangler: Hive defense turret. Capable of disabling targets with dual effluent streams. Able to apply bug juice to disabled targets within reach. Found only within established hives. High threat.
  • Flea: Airborne hunter. Disables targets with spit. Physically restrains and applies bug juice regardless of ability of target to resist. Very aggressive. Typically only seen in environments where the rowa may hunt without restriction, though intelligent enough to follow the rules where restrictions are in place. Very high threat.
  • Giant Scorpion: Ground hunter. Disables targets with spit and stinger. Applies bug juice to disable victims through oral organ. Only found in established hives, or in environments where the rowa may hunt without restriction. Very high threat.
  • Soldier: Warrior. Disables targets with spit and hand-stingers. Kills targets it cannot disable with relative safety. May rarely restrain and apply bug juice in moments of relative 'safety'. If able to capture a victim that has proved frustrating, will restrain and disassemble the victim's brain using its needle-tube mandibles, learning the qualities though which the victim was able to resist so well in the process. Well armored. Tactically adept. Found only where an established hive exists, though rarely seen outside of it. Very high threat.
