Destiny Delta

The Destiny Delta is a large, wedge shaped vessel constructed by Vixanti Corporation in order to test  concepts related to using crew who's bodies are a combination of organic, biogel, and mechanical. The principle objective of this experiment is to see how effective a crew divested of all physical sex, sexual inclinations, and sexual temptations can be. The secondary objective is to determine how effective a crew of unskilled individuals can be when 'reprogrammed' using precomposed skill and experience profiles.

Roughly double the overall size of Vixanti's Destiny Omega, the ship is configured in a very different fashion. There are no conventional crew facilities to be found anywhere aboard the Destiny Delta except for eight small quarters modules and a lounge for maintenance and supervisory personnel. Instead, the ship is crewed by minimal resource requirement crew called cyborgirls who are part-organic, part-biogel, and part machine. These cyborgirls are housed in dedicated storage rooms while not in active use.

Prospective new crew board the ship via an underside ramp. They are then required to denude, become coated in biogel, and then processed for one of three potential purposes. These are regular cyborgirl crew, fuel in the biogel soul energy power plant, and souls to enhance the local capabilities of the ship's biogel reactor core. While the latter two options are common to all Vixanti biogel powered and controlled vessels, the former is currently totally unique to the Destiny Delta.

The Destiny Delta is controlled directly by the ship's biogel reactor core, though a conventional command facility is provided to allow both Cyborgirls and normal humanoid crew to operate the vessel when needed. The reactor core itself is under the control of the Unity and it's controlling soul Omega.

Like the Destiny Omega, the Destiny Delta is armed with destroyer class biogel stream hemispheres, a biogel alpha stream cannon, and a squadron of biogel fighter pods. Unlike the Destiny Omega, is also has a pair of conventional naval torpedo tubes and a quartet of point defense plasma cannon.

While the Destiny Delta is primarily equipped to harvest new cyborgirls, it also has a 'gummy factory' and a 'gooey machine' to transform recruits into gummies or liquid biogel respectively, should the ship reach maximum cyborgirl capacity before its current assignment is complete.

Access to the Destiny Delta and its recruitment facilities cannot be deliberately obtained at the current time. One must be at one of its secret 'landfall' destination at the right time in order to board.
