With the August 4th Hero Me Gen6 update release, the Hero Me Hypersonic is coming to the Voron Switchwire. This is a Stealthburner / Afterburner upgrade, initially for E3D V6 / Revo Six / or any groove mount hotend. The Hero Me mounts directly to an unmodified Voron Switchwire X carriage and replaces the heat sink and part cooling of an Afterburner or Stealthburner setup.

The Afterburner and Stealthburner may be pretty, but they don't come close to the cooling power of a Hero Me Hypersonic! This is the famous Hero Me Gen6 cooling that can bridge whole build plates diagonally with no supports and no sagging! Run at 50% power, still more than 3X airflow than stock and it is whisper quiet. See proof here at 8min mark: https://youtu.be/Cz-Ag0OTL7M

With the Hero Me, the Voron Switchwire also gets full access to the hundreds of Hero Me component options and add-ons, including mounts for ADXL345 accelerometer PCBs. The ABL probe mount in the X carriage is preserved to get the probe as close to the nozzle as possible.

While dual 5015s part cooling fans are shown, but any of the over 30 Hero Me part cooling duct options are available. In the coming weeks the most popular hotends that are not groove mount will also be supported. No changes are needed for the Stealthburner extruder. A slightly modified Afterburner extruder cover is provided.

If you want early access to this or any of the over 100 new and updated STLs, subscribe at the $3 tier or higher.

@josh ya him and I have chatted a lot about the CR6SE over there and was supposed to be one of the 1st things to get done after the docs had been completed

If anyone has any issues printing the 5015 lightweight forward brace ducts, I found that I was able to print them very cleanly by putting them at 45 degrees. This is with the rear portion of the fan brace against the build plate, the duct exhaust port and the forward portion of the brace up. Hard to describe but it's basically the only unobstructed long straight edge that is put down on the print plate. This is with an Ender 3 Pro using stock cooling and PETG.

William, I am sorry that the CRSSE does not yet have a Hero Me solution. I have been working on it, and as I have stated, getting the breakout board repositioned and compatible with the Hero Me parts has been very difficult. I have not given up on this, but I have not got an acceptable beta for this yet.

Please send me a screenshot of your slicer placement and I will test and include this as an option if it does not compromise strength anywhere (strength of the brace and mount posts are what I am concerned for based on layer orientation). Send a pic to me here: mediaman3d@gmail.com Thanks!
