Welcome all new subscribers! Plus HMG6 Update (Patreon)

Thank you all very much for your support! I was not sure what to expect when I made the switch to place the documentation on Patreon. We're off to a great start with 26 new patreons in less that 24 hours!

I am planing a number posts for the coming days, and I am currently editing the upgrade video for my other project, the Prusa MUTANT that will be posted here as well. 

The next big Hero Me project is to complete the Gen6 version. Some of this is already released as part of the HMG5 project you are using now. The most visible part of what is already released is the switch to M3 threaded heat pressed inserts. If the part has HMG6 in the filename, it has already been updated to use the inserts.

There are other changes coming to HMG6:

Greatly improved and easier to use part selection documentation.

Additional detailed assembly steps, with more call outs to unique differences in some printers.

More hot-end/extruder combinations supported (I will also have a Google doc showing the supported combos).

But the two biggest changes in Gen6 are related to easy of assembly and maintenance (if needed) post assembly. 

1. Changing up how the Hero Me base attaches to the gantry adapter so that you can remove it to access the hotend without disassembling everything.

2. Is even an easier version of #1 above, by using neodymium magnets on the Hero Me base and gantry adapter. The use of 8 to 12 magnets depending on setup and weight (3.8mm x 8mm) in addition to 'key' slots, will hold the base, hotend, and fans securely to the gantry, but when you need to, you can just pull it off without removing any screws!

I plan to have the HMG6 release available in the next 6-8 weeks. The first release will be to my Patreons for at least 30 days prior to posting to Thingiverse. I will have beta versions available to my All-access Patreons  in the next week or two.
