spider ponds is a game I made a long time ago, during the first half year of doing the Patreon. It didn't sell very well, but I'm still pretty happy with it. In the game, you're a spider following a strange fairy. You have to catch flies to not go hungry, watch out for frogs and other spiders, and build webs to continue through the level. It has a unique mechanic of slinging around to make new paths with your strings of web!

The game was actually a second iteration of another spider game. The first one was made in winter 2017, when we were still making our two-each "buffer"-games before we started our Patreon. It was a basically finished game, but I was dissatisfied with the controls so I decided not to release it. This is what it looks like:

Now, 6 years later, I've included it as a bonus on the game's itch.io page! So you can play the original, unfinished version too. I've also included a readme with the controls.

I hope you'll enjoy checking out spider ponds, as well as this unreleased draft version!

On another note: we're still working on new games! I'm making a (still unannounced) point-and-click game about a frog, Aran is working on Stacklands DLC, and even more is in the works! We're still figuring out our new work schedule, so it's been a bit quiet lately - but expect a bunch of new stuff in the future!
