Tile Tale is a game inspired by the board game Labyrinth with a match 3 like mechanic. You push tiles from your limited tile stack into the board, pushing off other tiles off of the board in the process.
Your goal is to make 2 by 2 combinations of the same type which gives you new tiles to place!

In the past months I tried to come up with a simple game idea that has a fun core gameplay. It was really hard! I probably started over 4 or 5 times haha. But in the end, I think Tile Tale became exactly what I wanted to make, even though I didn't have much time left to actually make it.
I'm very curious to see what you'll think of the core gameplay of the game! And I hope you have fun!

Hello! I am loving this game, but after reaching pretty far in it - level 35 or so - I seem to have done TOO well and the game crashed due to "ERROR in action number 1 of Step Event 2 for object oBanana: Variable Index [-1] out of range of [5] at gml_Object_oBanana_Step_2 Not sure what all that means but my guess based on what was happening in-game is that I got too many bananas dropped on one tile and it couldn't handle it lol. May need to either reduce banana spawns or create a 'win condition' lower than half the board being banana trees.
