Guardener is an arcade-style hold-em-off where you farm your units! You play as a little gnome who can pull out weeds, water plants and fight off invaders. Grow potatoes, carrots and onions that come to life and help you to defend your garden!
I made this game instead of Deer Hunter III. I was feeling pretty burnt out after doing Temple of Rubbo, which was a huge project. Because it was also 2 months late, I only had two months left to create Deer Hunter III and had little time to take a break. I missed the deadline and the game still wasn't anywhere near finished. That's why I decided about two weeks after the original deadline to just make something small and fun instead. I'm really glad I did, because it made me remember that it's actually really fun to make video games!
It was a lot of fun to make this game, and I hope you'll have fun playing it as well! Let me know what you think!

Note: this game was supposed to come out in April. If you were a patron in April, you will have access to this game!

I get a link to Tile Tale, but can't download it.

I was a Patron in April as well, and I don't have access to it !

The micro in Guardener is intense. Do fences stop weeds from growing?

Have been a patron since Helionaut came out, can confirm it's not showing for me either. Tile tale is there, no Guardener available for me to claim.

Yep, also missing it. I started around the end of april so I'm unsure if I should have it, but I'd sure like to have it :)

Is there any update on why Guardener isn't available for many people as per the comments above? I really want to play this one.

RocketBandit

there hasn't been any steam links since last month, any updates on that?

Can't see it either

Welp, I just subscribed for a year and now am not allowed to play the game? :( I know it says "supposed to come out in April", but still ...

I was able to download the game, but it is absurdly hard. There needs to be ways to earn money other than weeds.

Selling your units is the easiest way to get money, since if you sell multiple you get twice the buy cost for each plant over the first. I think I triggered a visual bug when I sold 5 pumpkins
