that's a slippery slope, because back in the 90s, each high profile japanese game would present its own genre. "high density character action game" or "true love RPG" or whatever. so there's basically an infinite amount! could be good with a time limit though

I recently watched Resident Evil Retribution in 3D and I’ll say that it’s still pretty whack in 3D

During the Paradise Killer eligibility debate on the 2022 GOTY episode, Tim threw out the idea of relitigating the 2020 list. I think that would be really fun to listen to, especially since the 2020 list involved listener votes — this is the chance to fix that! Could also be a cool bonus ep if it doesn't seem meaty enough.

(brandon:) I haven't seen those two! I should've specifically mentioned it was tobe hooper movies after TCM that I'd been watching. had a lot of brushes with eaten alive but never took the plunge because of how mediocre all the other stuff had been. Dude made a lot of movies.
