Really liked all your insights and opinions in this episode so don't worry about talking a lot! It's interesting to see where opinions can be similar and yet differ on characters and plotpoints. You said it yourself what a throwback in the conversation between Eleanor and Max, and I just want to go back to that conversation because I think it gives some great reflections on the writer's part and also because they are both some of my favourite characters (no I don't agree with all their decisions, yes I find them both endlessly fascinating characters). What I find so interesting about that scene is the reflections on stuff that happened all the way back in episode 1x02; and how that stuff that happened so early on was so pivotal to both of their character arcs that in this final season we circle back to it. Because that scene is what set both of them on their paths and what immediately at the start of this show showed us their ambitions and goals, but also how those have changed and shifted over the seasons and how they parallel each other but also other characters. It made me think of that scene between Miranda and Flint near the end of season 2 when they were discussing if their past selves would even recognize them now, how that is shown in this conversation between Max and Eleanor in how much they have changed but also all these other characters. I just wanted to give props to the writers and creators on the character development from all of these characters, whether we like them or not. The deal at the end with Flint and Eleanor yeah we'll have to see how that turns out. Wild how those characters have not spoken or been in the same scene since the middle/end of season 2 when they were on the same side. I repeat so wonderful how the story shifts and the characters change with it like the sand (which is a throwback to Max in 1x02 saying this place is just sand, constantly shifting; so much set up and foreshadowing and building of this series in that first season, have to appreciate it for that) Can't wait for the upcoming episodes! (Oh and I so wish you had more time in the day as well, I could watch this show along with you more often than just once a week, it is so binge-able :'))

Yes exactly!! I don't think I've seen writing this good honestly. I just love how we can tie what's happened to them from past decisions and how each character is unique in their journey but has similar problems as the other main characters. It truly is so great to think about. Just like you I find these characters fascinating even if i don't agree with them lol I LOVE that sand reference. Wow how spot on that was! Thank you for bringing that up (: time will always be my biggest obstacle it seems but i'm dedicated to continue this :D hoping to finish by June since thats when HODseason 2, Bear 3, and The Boys is coming out
