Sweet Owl

This episode is a 10/10 Loved the reaction and your commentary too, as usual :) In particular I loved how you said "This Flint is scary" in the end, pointing out that he no longer has anyone to hold him down. All the action scenes don't really need words, all from the camera work, to the sets and the practical effects is fabulous. My favourite part of the episode though is not the action but the sense of brotherhood you get, in particulary when Vane's crew went to get Silver, our crew was chained and they perfectly knew they couldn't really do much about it, but they still stood up and gave the others an hard time, "That's our brother you are taking" I get chills every time, I love that kind of bond men can have. But also during Silver amputation and during Vane and Flint scenes, so many chills in this episode. The moment between Jack and Ann is a bit bittersweet like you said, but I wasn't sad, their bond is stronger than ever. I think Ann said she can't be his wife because she realized she's not really attracted to men, not because she don't want to be with Jack, that's my interpretation at least. Oh right, Flint and Vane speeches? Poetry. Especially Flint's, damn I love his dialogues so much haha :D I have something to say about Max too but I'll wait until after a few episodes of season 3.

Let's goooo, season 3!!! I still remember the first time I saw this season, Flint burning the whole city to the ground, Silver "confessing" about the betrayal. Perfection.

Wanda Did Nothing Wrong

Who can rein Flint in now that Miranda’s gone? Well you already know the answer to that 😈. I love that scene with Jack & Anne. They are best friends and soulmates and they do love each other. But Anne is IN LOVE with Max. And she needed that distance from both of them to realise that. It’s sad for Jack, but it’s also very healthy for their relationship. Season 3 has my favourite cold open of the series. Very curious if you’ll be one of the very few who isn’t confused by it lol

Bittersweet is definitely the right word for the Jack and Anne scene. I really love their whole dynamic. Anne has so much love for Jack, but it’s a different sort love than they both thought. I think Anne discovering that is so well handled

Ohhhh i didn't give too much credit to her loving Max so that's interesting. Excited to start season 3 this week (:
