Only taking into account what you’ve seen so far of the show: I do disagree with the idea that flint doesn’t feel any sort of guilt for killing gates and I felt that way on my first watch of the show too when I was at this part of the show. Flint immediately after killing gates just seemed so broken which of course doesn’t excuse it but it did make it seem to me that he didn’t just do it and not care which made it more interesting for me. The scene with silver and flint is probably one of my favorites. It just made it so clear the toll doing everything flint has done has taken on him and it’s a moment of vulnerability that we don’t always see from him. Very much enjoyed this reaction and I’m very excited for your reaction to the next one :)

Hmmm I did view that scene as significant as well with the part where he doesn't want Silver to touch Gates. The zoned-out emptiness look definitely shows his guilt. You know that feeling when something really intense happens to you and you zone out without a clear thought? That's what I thought his character was going through. I guess I'm being convinced along with the other characters by the mask he puts on. Just like Sweet Owl says, he's finally trusting Silver so the conversation between them could be his true colors. Idk I was just really hurt by what he did to Billy lmao My trust in him was ruined xD Thank you for sharing your thoughts (:

Couldn't agree more. I'm happy to see someone else who gets Flint feelings and internal struggle :D
