Good evening folks. A bit of a straightforward update this evening.

The editing on the next video, part 10 of the DayZ Standalone video critique, is going smoothly and there aren't really any big problems. Everything is going as planned, thankfully.

Last week I had finished about 5 minutes of the 24 minute total. This week I've managed to reach just over 15 minutes, with about 9 minutes left.

At my current pace, I reckon by the end of next week I'll have editing finished and will be polishing it in preparation for presentation. But I'm not sure how long that quality assurance is going to take. I'll let you know next week.

Additionally, I think I made the right call by switching over to Adobe After Effects rather than Sony Vegas. I'm able to use what I've learnt over the last couple of years to create some visual aids to explain some software development concepts to help illustrate my points.

Part of the reason I feel I need to do this is because, I think people need to grasp exactly what iterative development is in order to understand what went so wrong with the DayZ Standalone. Because in my opinion it's the rope that they hung themselves on. And as I shall explain, have been doing an admirable job trying to recover from it.

Fingers crossed it'll make sense when you see it. I'll keep cracking on and will have a view able version for you as soon as possible. As always thank you for your generous support.
