Phew, well this week has been a bit of a mountain. Culminating in working on that very hot weekend to get this one over the finish line. But I can finally say it's done. Folks I present to you Random Arma Bullshittery part 9 - https://youtu.be/c3pU0VqEFVs

Though of course this one has something of a twist to it, the feedback for which I'm eager to hear. Effectively most bullshitteries take the form of completely disconnected clips, pulled from a multitude of streams recorded (sometimes) months apart. But this one consists of 8-9 very deliberate and sequential streams that were done in May, in which ZF and various associates played the Antistasi Mod. The core conceit of which is where we play as a resistance group, fighting to expand a 'liberated territory' against a pre-selected occupation force. In this case the Russians.

This means that our group effectively needed to maintain in-game public support by running PR campaigns, civilian relief efforts, along with raiding supplies and stealing equipment, whilst being very careful not to attract attention to our rebel headquarters. And it also meant that heavy-assets in other Arma games (like on call air-support) are mostly unavailable to us.

Now functionally this means that a lot of the funny moments that occurred could only make sense in the context of this mod. Which explains this episodes length. If Digby and I are being silly with Incognito mode (basically disguising yourself as a civilian instead of a guerrilla) then it would only work in a video about Antistasi. Because regular Army grunts don't do that. It's just not part of regular Arma 3.

As a result, I had to decided whether to include the clip in here, or not at all, since the framing device is setup here. Which is why the length of the video kept creeping up. And therefore the total edit length.

In addition to this, there are also two specific framing devices that I've used for the first time. Which I've mentioned before. A mimicking of Splinter Cell's news report briefings, explain why we are fighting the Russians. And then the same at the end to show the aftermath.

And I've asked BewBewDingo to draw some art pieces for "The Badgers", the name of our resistance group. With ZF Bavon writing and singing an increasingly accusatory jingle, in which it becomes harder and harder to explain our clan bullshit in the context of liberators. Ending with it being clear that we're basically just terrorists.

And as always, I've continued my flare for "over-editing", the final polish I hope shows through. And I've found I've learnt a few tricks for the next project.

For now though, for better or for worse, I am exhausted. So will some time to rest. I will certainly be around a plenty in the comments, both here and on Youtube if you have any questions whatsoever. As always thank you very much for your very generous support xx
