It's the end of week six on Random Arma Bullshittery (part 9). And here's an update on how things are getting on.

Last week, my focus was working out the framing devices throughout the episode - the newsreel and the jingle. But this week has been a case of taking what I've edited and putting it all together. It's been primarily a week of quality assurance.

And on that front, I've managed to complete about 8 minutes and 50 seconds of the 18 minute run time. For the curious, the timeline currently looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/EfVGCV0.png

Unfortunately "complete" has some caveats. I've not gotten a response from that Youtuber who I was hoping would voice the intro newsreel. Which is a bummer. I'll need to look into asking someone else. I don't suppose anyone has any suggestions? I'm looking for someone with a clear and concise 'newsroom' voice, who obviously isn't ZF. Who could pass as a journalist at a fictional news network covering the events on Altis. In order to make it seem as though our antics have far reaching political consequences for the region. And that we exist in the real world, exactly like that joke with the historian turning up during Monty Python and The Holy Grail. ZF Aren't just in Arma 3. We're off the coast of Greece and we're screwing everything up politically speaking.

And there are some other scenes in the complete section that I'm not too sure about and might try to enhance by replacing some audio tracks. All the trucks for example are too quiet in Arma 3. Will probably go back with some headphones and dub over some engine noises. It'll be more obvious when I do some test renders and sit down and rewatch carefully.

BewBewDingo (artist) and ZF Bavon (musician and all round weird person) have done marvelous work. Together they've given me assets and music for three musical interludes, the likes of which you've not seen my videos yet. I think you're gonna love it.

So, next week I'll probably end up around the 15-16 minute mark and approaching completion. Though I've still yet to decide what to do with some extra bits sitting on the sidelines. Will keep editing and have a think. Thank you for your continued patience with me. And I hope you have a smashing weekend!
