Righto. I've just spent 5 days doing a bunch of minor pre-production tasks before the next video. Here's what I managed:
  • Reorganized recorded footage - I was able to go through and successfully catalogue almost a years worth of streams that have been cluttering up the hard drive. Freeing up almost 1.5tb of drive space for fresh footage. And I've also put everything in the right game folders, where it needs to be (will go into more details below).
  • De-fragging hard drives and buying a new one - Moved some of the streams that might be useful long term (The Valley, Rimworld, etc) to a fresh external hard drive.  Also defragged the existing drives, freeing up more space.
  • New Twitch subscriber animation - I've finished a new subscriber animation. Which needs to be shortened and synced with audio. But the basic animation is there.
  • Added extra Twitch subscriber icons - I've created three different flavors of subscriber badges on Twitch. These indicate to others the length of time that somebody has been a subscriber. I did initially want to mirror Patreon's three tier system. But oddly enough I don't think Twitch lets you set the badges for anything other than time subbed. Which is a shame. It's also rather rubbish that there's no integration between Patreon and Twitch. But, obviously Twitch would never entertain the concept of a revenue competitor on their platform.
  • Adobe After Effects training - A little bit of training to do with Expressions. Not much, but some useful notes made.
  • Re-upload that bullshittery video that was muted - Random DayZ Bullshittery part 12 has been restored with a different music track cut at the end.

This is all I was able to manage at any rate. But it was time well spent.

Now when it comes to the footage available, here is what I've discovered. There are five videos that I'm certain can go right into editing immediately.  And eleven videos that would require some cutting to determine if there's enough footage there.

I know that Rocket League was quite a popular choice last time, but if you have a moment would you mind casting your vote in this poll? Just so I can gauge if opinion has shifted with this clearer perspective on what's available. I can't guarantee that whatever has the most votes will get the next bullshittery. But it will certainly help me determine what is the most sought after.

Next project though will likely be the fixes to the D&D bullshittery. Will make another post about that to get your feedback

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
