More images from the Deep Six dream concept from which we got. Wetsuit Fluttershy   A couple of important figures in that dream were the Royal Sisters. Especially Celestia who seemed to be this combination of the Celestia we know and love mixed with Emma Peel of the original Avengers TV series and Major Motoko Kusangi from Ghost in the Shell "Stand Alone Complex". It was something to see her levitating a Maxim style machine gun while blasting Innsmouth-like fish men .

Peel/Kusangi fits - nice blend of devious charm and danger. Anyway, to stick with the Avengers theme, I always figured Luna to be closer in tone to Honor Blackman - of course this begs for a John Steed joke.

Given how in fanon (and the IDW comics canon) Celly can create laser beams with enough accuracy to 'kneecap' an entire Changeling swarm all at once, and conjure forth nuclear explosions on demand, AND has the usual alicorn-level pegasus, unicorn, and Earth pony level magics -- what does she need a gun for?

And an Emma Peal Celestia. You really don't like my nose do you Barron? ^.^ Though I assume that in keeping with the Pacific Rim esque theme, this isn't regular static cloth, but some kind of smart/adaptive material? I suppose it says something informative about me that I'd see her like this, and my first impulse woudl be to look between her (front) legs and ask, "How the hell are you making it do that? Elastic material do not react to concave surfaces that way!" :P
