Wet Suit Fluttershy (Patreon)

One of the interesting things about lucid dreaming is seeing what characters in my sleep imagine when they dream. This series of Fluttershy sketches was from a dream that my main RPG pony character Windshear saw one evening while she was asleep.

       There is one important thing to remember about Windshear. The sky in her world is not exactly same color as it is for every other pony. It's more saturated and vibrant. For Windshear the world is place full adventure, with mysteries waiting to be discovered and solved around every corner. Her life has a soundtrack and it is composed of awesome!

       So one evening I when I went to sleep got to see what my RPG character was dreaming about. It wasn't a dream so much as it was a really long movie trailer for a concept that my subconscious appears to be kicking around. That concept is called Deep Six. If you took Friendships is Magic mixed with the original Avengers movie. Then stir in a healthy dose of Pacific Rim, and liberally sprinkled bits from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and some tech from Last Exile; you'd have Deep Six.

        Envision Celestia and Luna along with the Mane Six battling giant sea monster while dressed like Black Widow from The Avengers, and you're starting to get a feel for the dream. Thinks about a great air battleship emerging from secret hangar beneath the palace in Canterlot, and Celestia plug her horn into a Wave Amplification Cannon to magnify her sun magic to vaporize 30 story tall Kaiju and that's Deep Six.
