God of the Sun, passion, joy, valor, and all things that get you moving and smiling in the day, Munshin is one of the most widely worshiped in the Prime Pantheon. With epithets that range from "The Lion of the Dawn" to "King of the Sky" to "Radiant Father", it wouldn't be a stretch to characterize the massive celestial body that is Munshin as kind, boisterous, passionate and compassionate. Being the creator of sun elves with the help of the goddess Malira, the Radiant Father is also responsible for the creation and redemption of orcs within Alinaria.

Ages ago, when the world was still young and Malira had created her own mortal creatures and aided the others in the Pantheon to make their own. Munshin's creation were collectively known as the "Mun'sari" or "Children of Munshin". Underneath this name were two sub-categories: the Tuk'hani or "Tusked Ones" and the Mari'nari or "Fiery Ones". While both had their blessings bestowed by Munshin, there were those of the Mari'nari who felt cheated out of bearing the full image of their Father, and began to secretly hate the Tuk'hani.

Time passed on, and as the fell god Katash began to plan the destruction of the Prime Material Plane, he offered those secretly hateful and envious of Munshin's children the power to kill them. The envious ones, consumed by their bloodlust, agreed and proceeded to slaughter most (if not all) of the Tuk'hani. In a fit of grieving wrath, Munshin cast down the sun's full fury upon the land where his children had slaughtered each other, creating the desert still known as Munshin's Wrath.

Those of Katash's influence who survived the razing were cursed to bear the image of the Tuk'hani while maintaining the savage and violent ways of Katash. Munshin did, however, offer grace, saying that those of their descendants who would choose to repent would be brought back into the open arms of their Father with all of the love the Tuk'hani received.

As time went on, those who worship Munshin would promote the main message of his love: to pursue one's noble passions with all of their being, and to be rewarded in the warm and everlasting support of their Father. Those who live in the Prime Material Plane have often felt the warm hand of Munshin at least once in their lives, as the sun god cannot help but reach out to all who accept him.

Munshinites are often seen with the warm smiles and open hearts of their god and dedicate much of their practices to passionate expression, be it art, combat, love or everyday work. Regardless of the medium, you can be sure that they will give their all in whatever they love to do.
