Chapter 6: Spiraling Out Of Control

The Sentinel raised it’s arm and blasted an energy beam at Jubilee but Laura pushed her out of the way, “We need to finish this fast!” Laura popped out her claws and charged at the Sentinel’s feet as fast as a morbidly obese pregnant woman could, slashing it’s ankle

Jubilee looked up at the Sentinel and something came over her. A rush of adrenaline flowed through Jubilee’s blood and her maternal instincts had kicked in and she was determined to fight.

“Rwwwwaaaaah!!” Jubilee shouts, launching a barrage of pyro at the Sentinel's face, practically wiping it off. Jubilee wasn’t the only one overcome with a mother’s instinct to protect her young, Laura was also in such a state, thrashing and clawing at its heels and legs. Between Jubilee and Laura and their combined mother bear attack the Sentinel didn’t stand a chance, collapsing onto the ground.

Both girls were panting, eyes dilated. Jubilee collapsed to her knees and Laura helped her up, “Come on, let's get out of here.” Jubilee continued to pant, her hands were still crackling with small sparks and Laura’s claws were still out.

It took an entire minute before Jubilee felt good enough to go and Laura helped her up.

In the days since the Sentinel attack in the park Jubilee and Laura only got bigger and their stomachs had reached such an absurd size that they were practically immobilized by the sheer immensity. They were now rolling around in Professor Xavier's spare wheelchairs, but the chairs were tight fits, their fat bodies flowed over the edges like a muffin..

"We've got to do something" Jubilee ran her fat hands over her boulder sized belly.

Laura could feel constant kicks in her stomach "This is not a normal pregnancy, were too big, too fat. We've grown so big in such a short time. Look at us! We look like we're about to pop!"

Jubilee shuddered at that, "Please don't say that. I keep having dreams of growing so big I pop like a balloon." 

Laura looked at her, tilting her head in disbelief, "Do the dreams happen during that night we watched that movie?"

Laura and Jubilee both looked each other in the eye, seemingly thinking the same thing. "The octopus" both of them said at the same time and gasped.

"Okay, let's just think. Maybe we can diet and exercise" Jubilee began to say but was cut off by Laura saying "Jubilee it's too late for that.." With a single hand on her massive stomach she said, "We can't do it now, we're too weak to exercise and too hungry to diet. Let's face it, we have to get out of here." Jubilee looked at her incredulously, "Are you serious? Do you really think we'd even get that far?"

The two girls were silent trying to come up with an idea when Laura said "Hank, he might have more information in his lab. Let's go."

The two girls rolled to Beast's lab, trying to find something, anything that could tell them what was going on. Laura was looking through file cabinets while Jubilee worked tirelessly on Hank's computer terminal, trying to hack pass the security login.

As they worked they heard a creaking sound.

"What was that?" Laura asked, to which Jubilee said "It sounds like it came from our chairs. We have to hurry." Jubilee worked faster, trying to come up with what Beast's password could possibly be.

After the third try several red lights went off, "Oh no, I activated the security system!" Jubilee cried out as robotic drones dropped from the ceiling, cornering them with long pincher arms that were crackling with electricity.

"Rrrar!" Jubilee grunted firing at them and returned to the computer after they were destroyed. Another failed attempt activated another security measure and the two girls started to rise into the air, along with their chairs and the various files Laura had pulled out. 

"Ahhh" both girls sighed in comfort as they left their chairs. Floating in the air they felt all sorts of relief from the weightless anti-gravity.

"My muscles, my bones don't hurt any more." Jubilee said with a big smile on her face. Her huge knockers floated up and knocked her in the face making her giggle.

Laura also had a contented smile but knew they had to get down. She saw blinking light coming from a machine and popped her claws out. Slashing at it it deactivated the trap and both girls fell to the ground.

"Arrgh!" Both girls grunted from the fall, moaning from the impact. "Nnnn!" It took all of Laura's energy to get up and slowly waddled to Jubilee and helped lift her. Both girls huffed and puffed trying to resume their search when Laura finally found it. “Got it!” She exclaimed and both of them took a look. Inside Beast’s notes read:

“I have discovered four entities inside Laura (X-23). It is currently unknown how they got inside, I have yet to come up with a solution. Without knowing the nature of these creatures it would be unwise to perform any sort of abortion on her. It’s under my judgement not to tell her until I have more information. However, time may be running out. Jubilee has grown grossly obese, I suspect she may be in the same condition as Laura. Worse, according to the Professor these entities have psychic abilities. The Professor has assigned myself, Scott, Jean, & Logan to the task of saving the two girls.”

After reading the file their eyes grew as wide as saucers. “That’s why everyone’s been acting strange, we’re pregnant with monsters!” Laura exclaimed and Jubilee started to panic and breathe heavily.

Just then a woman with multiple arms, both organic and cybernetic, teleported into the lab.

It was Spiral.

“You two porky mamas are coming with me”

“Rrrrrrr,” Laura growled and popped out her claws while Jubilee put her hands up.

“Ha! You think you fatsos can do anything about this!” Spiral made quick work with them, easily knocking them down to a helpless state on the ground. Walking over to them she grasped each of them.

“Now that you young mothers have settled down it’s time to go. You’re overdue for your meeting with Mojo.”
