This review was a little brisker than the others but (honestly) I really struggled to discuss this movie in much depth.

To me it really seemed like they sat together for a brainstorm session and after five minutes had the creepy smile into the camera ('and we could hire actors to do this at the Super Bowl for viral marketing!') and then were *completely* out of ideas, but still made the film.

Fun fact: there's a short film before this movie with kinda the same concept but one that I think is better in my opinion. I think as far as visuals and just overall vibe, it could have been better. Then again, if you watch enough horror, the typical tropes just don't hit anymore. I also feel like the odd one out in actually liking the ending. I think too often, to me, horror movies try to make a convincing ending of let us introduce you to this character and their trauma and try to make you believe they can defeat it all within a few days movie time. I think there's a conversation to be had on how trauma can impact us and the people around us and sometimes how our trauma, or the actions we take, can ultimately haunt someone else.
