Now this is something truly special, Dandon! 👏👏👏👏👏 The face that you've painted here is easily among your very best, the smoothly rendered skin tones, the way the light and shadows define her features (the rim-light along the shadows on her right side, her nose, chin and cheeks etc), her absolutely gorgeous blue eyes and beautifully sensuous lips... All of it is perfect! Her eyes really pop too against the warm skin tones, red hair and golden crown, while the shadows and shine on her lips have a terrific texture and the skin in general and the way the light and shadows fall... Nothing I say can truly do justice to just how beautiful your Mera looks and the level of skill that you've demonstrated here. Seriously, this is one of your best painted faces, in absolutely every aspect! 👏👏👏👏👏 Now that I've got that out of my system 😅, looking at the whole painting, the colours are just brilliant with the warm tones of her hair, crown and skin contrasting against the surrounding blue and green tones. Our eyes are instantly drawn to the area of Mera's face thanks not only to the colour contrasts, but also the way that her hair, face and chest are more brightly lit and vibrant than the surrounding water and lower section of the painting. Adding even further to what I've just described is the terrific way that the edges of her hair are tinted blue as they flow further away from the central point of her face. You've even done something similar with her staff, having it be a vibrant gold nearer to her thigh/bum while it fades to blue near the top and bottom (almost as if you're trying to get us to look at Mera's bum, very naughty 😉😹). I love Mera's pose too, the relaxed way that she sinks back against the rocks, casually letting her right hand fall with her trident laying against her, all while the voluptuous curves of her thighs and bum are accentuated, with the brighter blue rim-lighting on her bum making it pop against the similarly toned rocks behind it as well as further accentuating their appealing shapes. Mera's calm expression and demeanour go well together as she reclines with her beautiful smile pointed our way and I just adore how you've positioned her hair, having it spread out in all directions, flowing, twisting, meandering and curling at the ends, it's a treat to look at and absolutely brilliantly painted with the twisting strands of hair. And as for the rendering, well I've already made it clear how I feel about the face, but to briefly re-iterate, it is among your very best work and I am utterly in love with it! Those beautiful blue eyes are utterly captivating with such a perfect colour contrast 💙💙. Similarly, the skin and anatomy of her neck, clavicles and chest/breasts look marvellous too, I especially like how the light shines onto the centre of her breasts as the shadows wrap around the inner edges of each one, really accentuating those shapes. Her hands too look so good, tinted in a cooler/bluer way to her face and chest so as not to distract from those central features, while the hands, fingers and visible palm are all still given great detail and rendered so smoothly. As I said, the hair is just amazing, so vibrant at the centre and slowly transitioning to dark, cooler tones towards the edges in a very nice gradient of colour, while also having such intricate detail put into it. Her golden crown looks fantastic too with the many different planes to it, the rippling effect on the frilly parts on either side of her face with bright highlights on the ridges and dark shadows on the concaves looks marvellous (I hope I described that well 😅). The green parts of her outfit with the scaled pattern over the material is very impressive, especially since the pattern appears to not be flat on the surface but actually raised off of the materials, a really cool detail. And of course the rendering of her forms within her clothing is so well done, of course her breasts are a striking detail with a strong contrast in light and dark to define those shapes, I especially like how there's a bounce-light on the undersides of the breasts with the strong core-shadow running along their centre. Her left arm looks particularly great too with the light landing on her forearm and bicep and each surrounded by shadows. Her thighs and bum are just 😻😻😻😻😻! Those voluptuous curves are to die for and you've defined them so well with excellent use of light and shadow, smoothly blended together to define them and with a lot of subtle plane changes too, particularly around the knees which is very impressive. The rim-lighting along her bum and knees also does a great job in further accentuating the shapes and making them pop. I really could go on, but this may already be becoming one of my longest comments and so I figure that I should cut it "short" here 😹. Suffice to say, I am clearly very impressed by this painting and you truly have excelled once again in terms of your skills, Dandon, every painting now in January has been outstanding and I struggle to do justice to just how insanely beautiful they are. So stellar work, Dandon! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Once again, the colours, lighting, the contrasts, the rendering and Mera's mesmerisingly beautiful face are all masterfully painted! 😻😻😻😻😻

So mind blowingly beautiful. *___* Her floaty hair looks like an extension of her crown and her face, as well as her pose, remind me of old renaissance paintings of european monarchs with is very fitting since Mera is a queen. Now I understand what you mean when you said you wanted to experiment with different styles, this classic royal style is perfect for Mera. But of course we can't have a Dandonfuga painting without some level of lewdness in it, and that delicious thigh taking almost the entire bottom half of the painting coupled with the incredible big booty does the job just fine. XD

This month will be dominated by the redheads beauties... ...of which I am very happy :D Your Queen Mera version looks great. I love this sitting pose, it looks more worthy of the Queen... ...and that look - "what do you want water peasant" xD If Flounder saw her he would be a naughty boy XD I like this light blur/brightening, it creates a real illusion of being under water. The figure on which we look - sharp and distinct and the surroundings less... ...a nice detail for the eye ;) Now I am just waiting impatiently for Mad Moxxi because I know that you will surprise me once again :D If the redheads are on top, then perhaps Commander Shepard will get a chance, she finally defended the galaxy hehehe :) Thank you Dandon for Merra 💙

Looks gorgeous! This Atlantean queen is the second redhead you've painted this month and, as you already know, I particularly like redheads, so you can guess I'm pretty hyped about this. And, speaking about hair, I love the underwater hair texture, as well as the texture of the "scales" on her suit. Also, I think this is one of the most realistic faces you've painted to date. So, in summary, I'd say you completely nailed it with this picture!
