Get ready for (in my opinion) the best Marvel TV show behind Daredevil. Season 1 was great, but season 2 is soo much better :)

The most notable fun fact about this season is the involvement of Ke Huy Quan. He started out as a child actor through his roles in The Goonies and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He was also a stunt coordinator for the first X-Men movie. Around that time, he left the acting industry. However, following the success of Crazy Rich Asians he reached out to a talent agent and auditioned for Everything Everywhere All At Once. His Goonies co-star and longtime friend Jeff Cohen who’s now an entertainment lawyer helped negotiate his contract to star in the film. Then after seeing his role as Waymond Wang, Kevin Feige reached out to him over the phone with the role of O.B. He was driving during the call, and he was crying with excitement - so much so that he had to pull over and let it out before continuing with the conversation.

The actress that played Sylvie was pregnant in the first season so she lost weight in this season due to that. That’s why she looks so different. Now as far as this show imo it’s once of the best season of TV I’ve seen in years. It’s rare when a tv show is this good.

The overall design of this show is just amazing, Adore the timeless 1960s inspired set design. Real sucker for timeless set design, why I love Tim Burtons Batman films so much visually over the Nolan films. Timeless Art Direction overly realistic modern day settings any day of the week. Also why I love Fallout as well and Bioshock. loved the reveal that the TVA exists within time itself showcasing that it does indeed have a past history. Something I love is how the TVA looks a little more late 1950s to early 1960s during the intro than the more late 1960s early 1970s look of the present day TVA.

Vince got the pronunciation of ouroborous down. As for kang being recast, nobody knows yet. There's rumours he will be replaced but there's also rumours they will abandon the whole story of kang and bring in another villain. At the end of the day nobody outside of the Disney higher-ups really knows at the moment. Personally I'd like him recast and they can just explain it as them being variants of kang and not all looking the same. Much in the same way the loki variants in season 1 were all different looking too.

Ouroboros is admittedly hard for some people to pronounce. Just OB is fine. The first time I ever heard that word was in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Yes, they are recasting Kang. But he will remain in the background for the next several projects and will resurface in Avengers 5 or close to Avengers 5. He might get mentioned here and there but with the whole Jonathan Majors trial Marvel is trying to avoid all that chaos at the moment so they will recast him but won't bring him back for a while. It's really a shame 'cause Jonathan Majors acting was superb! And, In my opinion, he was defending himself so they did him dirty. But the fact remains, he was convicted and now will be replaced in the MCU by another actor. I hope they can find somebody as good as him!
