I forgot about Steve winning a fight and Dustin noticing it. That was funny. After this, David Harbour would go on to portray the Red Guardian in Black Widow. What’s weird is that we have a character named Alexei in this show and yet the Red Guardian’s real name was Alexei Shostakov. Those who went to Comic-Con 2019 and have seen Stranger Things up to that point were laughing with excitement.

This entire show is FULL of inspiration from classic films. The there are rules for policemen line is a direct quote from Die Hard. Another series we need to get yall to watch. Alien, Terminator, stephen king, the inspirations are endless.

Awww dang, I was waiting for this episode so I could drop that fact. I watched Diehard right after re watching this whole show and when the bad guy said the policeman line I did the Decaprio point. One of the missing soldiers in Predator is named Jim Hopper though. so there is some new trivia lol.

To be fair, the whole point of the gang going to the hospital was to “let Mrs. Driscoll go” and follow the flayed woman to the Mind Flayer “source,” so it kind of made sense why Nancy and Jonathan didn’t immediately flee and were watching to see what/where the mushy remains of the flayed did/went. But yeah, my ass would have BEEN out that place esp after such a battle lmaooo

I would have to agree, I don’t think it’s necessary and I believe it does give maybe a little away, I would much rather have them surprise and guessing the next season idk just me tho 😅🤷🏻‍♂️ but I don’t mind whatever they do 😂
