Daniel Day-Lewis who plays Lincoln is a phenomenal actor. He’s so good in anything he’s in. Gangs of New York , and There Will Be Blood are two of my favorites.

Fun trivia: Daniel Day-Lewis is a hardcore "method" actor. When he takes on a role he's known to stay "in character" full-time both on and off camera. He won an Oscar for Lincoln and during his acceptance speech apologized to his wife for having to live with so many different strange men over the years. 😂

Fun fact: Daniel Day Lewis studied Lincoln for two years before they even started making the film. He read diaries. Studied with historians and read thousands of official documents to portray Lincolns personality as best as possible. Hopefully we get some more Daniel day Lewis movies in soon. I did that same trip to Washinton Vince. Got to see the theater and they went into the details of the assassination.

He doesn't cut corners that's for sure. And he lives and breathes the part 24hrs a day from the first script reading all the way to the last day. Very very few actors in history have that kind of commitment to their craft.

Daniel Day Lewis, one of the best there is, best there was and the best there ever will be.. imo.. his method and command of the audience while on screen is unmatched.. except for Brando.. lol..

Absolutely legendary movie! Daniel Day Lewis as Lincoln is one of the best performances I've ever seen, right up there with There Will Be Blood. I have also been to Ford's Theater, I visited with my best friend back in 2015 and it was very impressive!

Lincoln died the following morning in the bed across the street from Ford’s theater. Me and the wife share your memory Mr (apparently) Vince. We just found you two, have enjoyed a fuckton of all we’ve seen of yall, but this one had a part that had a reaction that I’ve went back and watched a handful of times because it’s just charming. Happy to have found you two.
