Been waiting on this one. Let's go! Glad the both of you enjoyed this movie. Personally, I enjoyed the sequel too. Idk how, but they somehow topped the first one! Both of you will love the sequel and I can't wait for yall to watch it.

Something I love about Miles Universe (Based loosely on Earth-1610 also known as the Ultimate Universe) is the different changes from our own universe. For example the NYPD are called the PDNY while Coca-Cola is called Koca-Cola along with a few other changes as well relating to brands, movies, etc. While Peter B Parker is from Earth-616 (According to the Display) a universe closer to our own where we see everything looking how it's meant to be. Peter B Parker can be seen as the main Spider-Man being from Earth-616 which is the designation of the Main Marvel Universe but it's unclear if this is actually the Earth-616 from the comics or if the display just happened to give Peter B Parker's universe the number of Earth-616. Seems logical that universes would see themsevles as number one just like how DC has many "Hey we're from Earth-1" "Ah sorry you're Earth-31 we're actually Earth-1" stuff like that lol The Green Goblin in Miles universe is inspired by The Ultimate Goblin from the Ultimate Universe. But in this film he wears his classic hat and uses pumpkin bombs both pulled from the Earth-616 comics as well. Instead of becoming insane with increased strength and riding a glider like we see in the Earth-616 comics and Spider-Man 1 Norman in the Ultimate Universe became this monster like Goblin after he injected himself with a failed Super Solider Serum. The Ultimate Universe started with Ultimate Spider-Man in 2000 introducing a new fresh young universe where Marvel could reimagine and modernize their Marvel characters starting with Peter Parker in High School as a 15 year old in the year 2000. it was also created to bring in a younger generation who may be too scared or worried jumping into a universe with 70 years worth of comic book history. Even though Miles universe is labelled Earth-1610 on Kingpins display it's not really accurate to Earth-1610 from the comics. Peter being blonde is different along with his death and how Peter and Miles met to the comics. So I personally wouldn't class this as the Ultimate Universe from the comics as it's too different but the idea of Miles becoming Spider-Man after the death of Peter is pulled right out of this universe. The Ultimate Universe is also closer to ours as well from pop culture to brand names etc. But I do like the spin they put on it in this film. in term of the Female Doc Ock this is something created for this film. Doc Ock does exist in the Ultimate Universe and you can actually see his Metal arms in both Peter B Parkers introduction comic set on Earth-616 and Spider-Gwen as well who was fighting Male Doc Ock when she was pulled out of her universe. Maybe there's a Male Doc Ock in Miles universe who knows but it's an interesting change. There are female Doc Ock like characters but they don't take the name Doc Ock.

Never assume animation is for kids. Would love to see some animated series from you guys. Spectacular Spider-Man is the best animated Spidey series and would be great for getting you guys into the lore.

These characters aren’t the ones from the live action movies, uncle aaron is childish gambibos character in mcu but that’s not supposed to be him in this if you know what I mean. This movie is different multiverse, I know these movies get so confusing with this shit😂 love you guys

And we purposely never told you of the comics version of Gwen where she does become spider women so we wouldn’t spoil this movie lol, there are different versions of spider women mj has been her many others too so many different comics

I recently watchd Across The Spider-verse and I can tell u that it's one of the best sequels (and movie in general) I've seen, it's a love letter to Spider-man fans, has a more serious tone than this one btw, and the bois won't let me lie. I'm waiting for the digital version just to see it with u. Thanks for this reaction guys, we really appreciate it 🫶🏻

The second movie is my favorite spider man movie of all time. 10/10 for sure. But i would recommend waiting to watch it until u watch No Way Home and the Venom movies

This is my favorite Spider-Man movie! I was blown away by how much heart and emotion it had, and the soundtrack works perfectly and adds soooo much to the film. Across the spider verse was great but I rank this one slightly higher

I would wait until after spiderman no way home to watch the second one. They only reference the film so not MUCH of a spoiler but the implication is the events of no way home has a hefty hand in what's going on in across the spiderverse

Great reaction you guys always are the only reason I’m on Patreon you guys are literally my favorite thing to do now is just watch all your content it’s gold just finished the jujutsu kaisen content and loved it and this was another great one but I will suggest don’t watch the second one till your done with the MCU movies

The music and story of this is so good and can't wait for ya'll to see the sequel omg . Miles is a great character and he's relatively recent as a Spiderman but he is popular been in some cartoons and has his own comics and is in the new spiderman game
