It's important to know and remember that Captain America will ALWAYS be on the side of what's right and true.

One thing people keep saying is they saved the world but tell that to the people who lost loved one, lives are destroy and The Avengers just go home. How does that work for those people?

Fujipredator

There’s always civilian casualties but besides the ultron event, all the threats weren’t their fault and did whatever they could to protect the innocent. They get blamed when aliens kill people? It’s an unfair ask

They made this movie very well... I hope these films get you guys possibly into the comics and original stories themselves. The storyline for the actual Avengers "Civil War" comic that this film is inspired from is SOOOOOO much more detailed and world encompassing, in that story they try to put ALL super powered beings on Earth from Marvel under governmental control including groups like X-men, the fantastic 4, and all other heros in Marvel. Its one of the most complicated and popular Marvel stories ever written.

I've seen a lot of people comment on how the 'young Tony' looks so CGI, and it makes me giggle. That's really how young RDJ looked. It's like they just got the guy off the set of Johnny Be Good or Chances Are to play the part.

Tell that to the people who lost their loved ones, they can't get a pass because people who lost will blame them.

So you know yes Bucky does have a serum in his body along with the metal arm. That’s why he can go hand to hand with cap and black panther as well and do more than any other average person

Wanda, Bucky, Vision just causing injury and death to people in this movie. And Cap. I remember this was the movie where I started to dislike him. Team Tony Stark all the way. That man is literally THE HERO. 😊

Defo agree lol I was too late to say my piece on this but logistically I'm with Tony. Like there has been plenty of damage caused by the Avengers directly that can't be ignored. Like Hulk in particular in the first Avengers movie. But neither side is fully wrong here. Cap always follows what's right, but here he lied to his close friend to protect Bucky. The first bad thing Cap has done. But Tony is also fuelled by his guilt. Ultron was quite literally his fault. But I get both sides. People with powers have to be extra careful, more so than normal people. That's just the price of what they do. Hell, Vision, a supercomputer, came to the same conclusion that they contribute to destruction and death from conflict simply by existing. So there's points to both sides.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bucky, and I might have had a different outlook on things had he died, either in the beginning by the task force, or at the end by Tony Stark. With that being said, Steve was less in the right than Tony and Tony was less in the wrong than Steve. At the beginning, Steve may have gone to apprehend Bucky, but he had time to do so before the authorities showed up and chose not to, he then decided to not just aide Bucky but he attacked law enforcement, stole and damaged a police car, Sam nearly nocked a helicopter out of the air. Again, I get wanting to keep Bucky from being killed on site, but still that is standard procedure for for any non-serum enhanced super soldier suspected of blowing up a UN meeting, killing a king and many others, so why would they not have that directive for Bucky? As for Wanda, she is to blame for the destruction and deaths that happened in Lagos. Wanda is a foreign enhanced who just killed multiple people residing illegally in the United States, keeping her on the grounds of the Avengers compound is the best option considering the army and law enforcement would want to put her in an actual prison, and no offense but Wanda is an unstable "teenager" (supposedly) so her reaction to law enforcement or even civilians who might come at her would almost certainty be violent. Regarding the Civil War, It is annoying how they all blamed Tony for the Sakovia accords and the end of the Avengers. The accords were not Tony's idea, and he was not the only one who supported or signed. And the battle, Tony was fighting on the side of the law with the actual information that he had, and when he found out that Bucky was not guilty of the UN explosion he acknowledged he was wrong and apologized; when Steve realized that Zimo did not want to awaken and control the other winter soldiers did he acknowledge he was wrong & apologize? Then we come to the final fight, with Tony v Steve/Bucky. 1, Steve knew about the murder of Tony's parents and never told him (a bit hypocritical when he was mouthing off to the director of a super secret spy organization about not sharing top secret information with him, including the fact that Bucky was alive, which Fury didnt even know about). Then, when Tony has to watch on screen his parents being murdered by Bucky, Steve doesn't even spare a second to try and offer consoling words to Tony (which may or may not have helped, but that simple action would have made a difference to me as a viewer) and instead is just like "Dont blame Bucky, it wasn't his fault." Noone in Tony's situation would be able to just watch that and be like, yeah, your right, its cool. Also, I love Barton, but that comment he made was disgustingly tasteless, he essentially blamed Tony for the paralyzing injury his best friend Rhodey received!

Watch the Pick Up Artist. Yong RDJ won't look so crazy. It's a good movie, too.
