As requested, should we watch "Black Widow" after Spider-Man Homecoming (before Thor: Ragnarok) *WE WOULD SKIP THE END CREDITS IN ORDER TO NOT GET SPOILED*

Watch the release order because you will be spoiled on information

Rashad Walker

Absolutely not!! Lol their are spoilers in that movie so it's best to follow the release order

Jarick Richardson

Hell no watch in the release order cause your gonna be confused too

Michael

When are you dropping captain America civil war ?

Nicholas Obici

Stick to release order. Without giving too much away, there’s a MASSIVE spoiler in the post credit scene.

Mondo Spieler

I suggest sticking with the release order.

Rippan

no no no!, it will spoil major events coming in the near future in the post credit scene. Hope Civil War drops soon :) And as many others have said, after Endgame/Far From Home you may want to go back and watch the Tobey Spider-Man movies and Andrews The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 (and Venom & Venom 2 if you got the time), it will pay off.

Tommy

Before you get to Spider-Man no way home I would finish the og spider man trilogy as well as the 2 amazing spider man movies

Dominic Delacruz

You should also watch the tobey Maguire spider man movies and also the Andrew Garfield spider man movies to get a better understanding of the spider man character and his villains. Definitely watch those before you get to Spider-Man no way home

Joseph

Release order, always. For all movies and shows. Prequels will always contain spoilers, even something small.

Coelacanth

You can watch all MCU stuff in releasee order. There's been no issues that way for all of us watching everything so far.

Tre

you guys should DEFINITELY watch the two other og spider man movies before watching the new spider man though

Tom Tattershall

Follow the release order for a first watch even if you skip the end credit scenes. I would only watch the movies out of release order for a re-watch and never for the first watch.

Cedric Worthy

Should watch before endgame

milky

I feel like even if you watched Black Widow early without the end credits, you'd still have to go back and watch the end credits later on anyway because the ones for that movie are relevant to future events. Its probably better to continue watching in release order rather than over complicating things

Fawks

Release order is the way Marvel intends you to watch the films. Black Widow before Ragnarok would end with a major spoiler. No idea why Disney+ has the chronological order so prevalent. If you think back on the first Captain America movie, it would've been first chronologically but ends with an Avengers trailer so that would be lame to see before all the others.

Ritchy Moereo

Release order . This is the way ...😁

Lukas

Agree with the majority here. Chronological is good for a rewatch, but for a first time, release order is essential.

Ruben rapa

Y'all should watch the OG Spiderman movies with Tobey Maguire and the Amazing Spiderman movies with Andrew Garfield

So, I am the one who submitted this request (instead of requesting a specific movie). (oh my god, just wrote a full essay on why I did this, and then hit cancel....ugh...so, quick points) -Black Widow contains NO spoilers in the movie, only in the final end credits scene. -Black Widow was written and designed to released after Civil War and before Ragnarok -It does NOT fit as the first movie of Phase 4 at all, either narratively, thematically, or in it's mood -this request was just an attempt at fixing a small stumble that was created due to pre-production office issues I didn't expect the poll to go any differently than it has, but all the cries of 'spoilers!' are mistaken.

Lifehouse

FYI if you watch black widow out of order, you will get spoiled. Im glad the poll favors the release order.

MotoDork

None of this matters. For first time viewing of MCU films. ALWAYS watch in release order.

JD Nevesytrof

I feel like Black Widow should have gotten her own film immediately after Iron Man 2, but I guess we can blame Ike Perlmutter for that one.

EdEddandEddy_

“I guess we can blame Ike perlmutter for that one..” as if the majority of us care to know who the marvel executives are

Holly R

No, for most people execs really don't matter. But if anyone does look into it, the effects of racism and sexism are, at minimum, interesting. My original point was based more on the fact that Schaeffer's intention was to have the movie slot into the middle of Phase 2. Pearson agreed with this, which is why the movie make no reference to anything happening after Civil War. My request was just following up on the writer's intent.

JD Nevesytrof

I mean, I've heard thousands of people with nothing better to do scream about Kathleen Kennedy 'ruining' everything, but do go on

jblakk

More than anything I think people just don't want to postpone Infinity War longer than they have to.

BadMoon84

Always best to watch ANYTHING in release order, and not to question it. It keeps true to the mystery and suspense of movies.

Chris Eimer

absolutely wrong...watching shit in order of release absolutely spoils the story. The real way to watch is by chronological order so you don't get spoilers... There is a reason why they do chronological order, you want to keep the fluidity of the story the way it was meant to be told, not by the order they decided to make the movies lol.... you're probably the one who watched Fast and Furious movies by watching Tokyo Drift 3 instead of 7th in Chronological order...C'mon man!!!
