This is the buddy cop film I didn't know I needed. It doesn’t beat Rush Hour, but it’s up there along with Falcon & Winter Soldier. In my opinion, this was one of the better films in the franchise. Some of my favorite funny moments include Mike Oxmaul, Hugh Janus, F1 F2 FU, and access denied times infinite. By the way, the director of this movie is David Leitch. He also worked on Deadpool 2 which you’ve already seen. That’s why Ryan Reynolds and Rob Dulaney showed up out of nowhere. Ryan also voiced the Eteon director as a separate character. Keanu Reeves was in talks for that role. As for Kevin Hart, he showed up thanks to Dwayne Johnson. They worked together twice before on Central Intelligence and Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle. I also loved how they incorporated Samoa into the film. They actually filmed in Kaua'i as a stand-in, but it definitely helped to bring the family element along. After this movie, Idris Elba would go on to portray Bloodsport in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad. Idris also contributed to the soundtrack for this movie by teaming up with LA-based hip hop group Cypress Hill for a song called Even If I Die. Hattie Shaw was portrayed by Vanessa Kirby. You’ll be seeing her again next year in the MCU’s version of the Fantastic Four. She’ll get to portray Sue Storm/Invisible Woman. Sue’s brother Johnny/Human Torch will be portrayed by Joseph Quinn who also got to portray Eddie Munson in Stranger Things season 4.

You got 2 left as of right now! Fast X is the 1st to I think a 2 or 3 part ending to the franchise. Vin Diesel stated that in an interview. I’m pretty sure they are currently filming fast X part two. Also just to give you a heads up so you don’t have to ask us why he’s not in it, Dwayne Johnson is not in F9 or Fast X because Vin Diesel and him weren’t getting along. I don’t know exactly what the feud was about but it had something to do with how the film was being made (I think).

During the time of this film the rock and Vin diesel were still not on speaking terms . Fast 8 they filmed all there seems separately. The rock and the actor who played Roman had a public fued. He was mad the rock didn't want to work with Vin diesel.
