Chapter 6 

Chapter 7 Dangers on All Sides

Hypnos agents were called in after the mysterious attack in a parking structure. Local police had no idea what could have caused such damage. It would be marked down as a gas line malfunction. The agents recorded all the data and it all read clear as a bell, some kind of digimon attack.

A man named Yamaki was observing, flipping the lid of his lighter back and forth. ‘How did this happen? We were monitoring for wild ones and there wasn’t a signal.’

The government would be writing a few checks for the damaged cars, paying for the repairs to the building, and a few more to keep this under wraps. ‘Could we be missing something, is there another way digimon are staying in this world off our radar?’

All this damage just confirmed one thing for Yamaki. ‘Digimon are dangerous, we have to keep them out of this world!’ He snapped his lighter shut.

Rika was having a problem. Her encounter with Takato and Henry had shaken her. Not only did Gargomon scare her, the combat against Guilmon was running through her head. So, she did what she always did when she faced a problem...she got out her cards.

She had a Leomon card, an Armadillomon and Terriermon card, even a Gargomon card. “How did that little runt digivolve?” She had Renamon and Impmon’s cards in a protective sleeve. “And what is with that weird red one?”

Not only did her digivice have no data on it, but she’s never seen a card of it either. “Despite having modify cards on you both, neither one of you digivolved.”

“Don’t worry queeny, once I digivolve I’ll be bigger and badder than the lot of them. They’ll be digitized in no time!” Impmon said. “I can’t wait to teach those punks a lesson!”

“That’s good, once you evolve I can modify stronger cards without causing an overload.” Each stage of digimon could handle modifies of the next stage higher, but beyond that it can cause an overload, causing the attack to be super weak or fail, there was also the risk of the digimon being damaged by the overload. Rika had tons of Ultimate and Mega cards.

“Rika, the boy with Leomon, he’s improved from the last time we fought. I can see it in his eyes he’s willing to battle.” He defended Henry who lacked the resolve to fight.

“Don’t tell me you’re scared?” Impmon asked.

“Watch your tongue, refusing to acknowledge your opponent’s strength can lead to destruction.” Renamon scolded.

“What’s that Goggle head got that I don’t?” Rika asked in a rhetorical way.

“Nothing, you’re perfect, you’re the best, we’ll kick their butts next time!” Impmon praised.

Renamon wasn’t so sure, Guilmon was an unknown, and Leomon was a champion. Their strength was hard to examine, if they weren’t careful it’d be them who’d get deleted. Rika was indeed skilled, but that didn’t mean you always win. “Let’s just be cautious of them, if we fight them we can’t take unnecessary risks.”

“Then we hit them hard, and walk all over them.” Rika said. “You better digivolve soon, both of you, I won’t be threatened by some overgrown rabbit.”

Rika wasn’t giving up the fight.

Takato spoke to Henry the next day. The bluenette didn’t want to fight, and that was fine but he wanted to know why. “I...played the digimon video game, it’s where I picked Terriermon and Armadillomon as my partners. I...treated that world as just a game, but look at them they are real. In the game I played so recklessly and deleted so many digimon.”

Armadillomon was curled into a ball and Terriermon was walking on him, creating an adorable circus act behind them. “If possible I don’t want them to fight anymore, I pushed them so hard because I thought they were just data, but they are real...and the digimon I deleted were real too.”

“Hmm, well it is possible, but maybe you made them real.”

“What do you mean?” Takato explained to Henry about Guilmon and how he literally made him up. He didn’t exist in the digital world and yet here he was.

“There’s a lot we don’t know, so try not to be so hard on yourself until we learn more okay?” Terriermon and Armadillomon agreed, they felt Henry was being too hard on himself.

“I still don’t want to fight.” His hands balled up into fists. “I don’t wanna lose them!”

“Hey I get it.” Takato took his hand. “I’ll fight for you, but we won’t absorb any data.” In the game you defeated the digimon and absorbed their data to grow stronger and level up. You could even lock in one of their moves to use as you wish. In the video game you could also digivolve into the absorbed digimon. It was a popular game and it ven linked to the card game as well.

Takato never got to play it, but he saw plenty of let’s plays on it. “I’ll protect you and them!” He said with a smile.

Henry blushed. “Thanks.” His blush caught on like a yawn and Takato blushed.

“No...no problem…” The two fidgeted a bit.

“You two should kiss!” Armadillomon said. That made their faces grow even redder.

“What?!” Henry gasped. “K-K-Kiss!?”

“It’s a promise isn’t it, a proper promise should be sealed with a big old smooch!” He said.

“Yeah, go for it Henry. You sucked my dick last night, a little kiss should be easy.” Henry could feel steam emanating off his head, this was so embarrassing.

“It’s okay, we don’t have to. My promise still stands.” Takato gets up. He gives Henry his number. “Call me if there’s trouble, or ya know, if you wanna talk and stuff.”

“Okay…” Henry smiled.

Terriermon looked up at him when Takato left. “Henry...you need to get laid.” Henry twitched.

“Hey Suzie, Terriermon wants to have a tea party!”

‘Oh no!’ He began to sweat.

“Yay!” His little sister ran in and dragged Terriermon off. That was his trump card right there, and the bunny digimon kinda earned that.

Henry shot Armadillomon a look who quickly made a zipping motion over his mouth. The tamer sighed, he felt like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders. Takato was making him feel things and actually listened to him. It was nice, so nice...

Yamaki went back to Hypnos. They were trying to monitor this strange new world they had stumbled upon. This world was full of digital monsters. Their system tracked wild ones and if they can catch them soon enough delete them before they breach the world. Despite some wild ones getting through, someone was taking care of them. ‘Whoever it is must have a digimon of their own, which makes them my enemy. We’ll get rid of all these monsters.’

“Sir, we’ve detected a wild one!”

“Track it down, don’t let it emerge!” Yamaki snapped.

“It’s fast!”

Guilmon sniffed the air. “I smell digimon!” They called for Takato. The brunette raced down and the digimon met up and raced to where a field was forming. Takato put on his goggles.

“Digital field detected, it’s going to breech!”

“No, stop it now!” Yamaki snapped. They unleashed their program, but it was just too slow as the wild one escaped their grasp.

The field stabilized and a digimon appeared. It let out a loud roar. Team goggle head entered the field and Takato scanned his data. “There it is Kuwagamon, Insectoid Digimon, Champion Level, it has a Scissor Arms, Trapping Scissors, and Power Guillotine attacks!”

“Can I fight?” Guilmon asked.

“You can just don’t absorb the data okay?” The dino monster nodded and charged forth. Leomon hung back to defend Takato from any surprise attacks.

“Pyro Sphere!” Guilmon launched his signature move, it hit the insect monster and knocked him back. He recovered with his wings flying up into the air. “Pyro Sphere!” He unleashed another blast and Kuwagamon dodged.

It charged at Leomon and Takato but the anthro fended him off with his sword. He shouldn’t have turned his back on Guilmon who charged and jumped, getting on the insect’s back. “Pyro Sphere!”

Kuwagamon went down. He tried to use his Power Guilotine, his pincers glowing red. Charging at Guilmon the dino caught them and was pushed back a bit. “Pyro Sphere!” Point blank again, right in his face.

Boom!

The digimon burst into data. Guilmon obeyed and didn’t absorb the data. The particles floated in the air. “Is this really the better way?” He wished there was another way. Suddenly Kuwagamon’s info appeared on his digivice again. “Huh?”

Like a moth to the flame, the data was drawn towards Takato’s digivice. It was reconstituted into a digimon egg before vanishing. With the battle over the digital field dispersed. “Whoa!”

Leomon was amazed, digimon eggs were rare in the digital world. Takato couldn’t wait to tell Henry what happened, he’d have to as he had to help his parents out in the store.

Henry wasn’t having a good dream. He kept remembering the video game, but seeing it as reality. Terriermon fighting and destroying digimon to get stronger. Armadillomon served as a tank to take hits while he used Modify to strengthen Terriermon. He pushed them harder, working them to collapse. ‘No...no...no…’

“How could you do this to us Henry?”

“Gorillamon?!” Henry gasped. He was one of the options for partners, but Henry had passed them over.

He had this dream before. Gorillamon chased him and caught him, Terriermon and Armadillomon were too exhausted to help him, he usually woke up after that but not this time. Gorrilamon began to rip off his clothes.

“No stop!” Henry gasped as he was exposed. “You are a naughty boy Henry!” His cock rose to attention.

“Ehh?!”

“Such a naughty boy!” Armadillomon appeared before him and began sucking his cock.
