Chapter 8 Big Score

While Ben and the boys were off on a case, Kevin and Argit were off on a more than likely deadly case of their own. “Kev have I mentioned this is a bad idea.”

“Several times.”

“Then let me say it again, because I’m getting more nervous.” Argit had gotten in contact with Vulkanus what scared him was how easily he agreed to meet with them. “This has got to be a trap and Benny doesn’t know where we are, and we didn’t tell anyone where we were going.”

“For good reason.” Vulkanus had a short temper and does whatever it takes to make a profit. “Argit, you said you’d have my back on this.”

“Remember this is for Ben, if Vulkanus doesn’t have the tech we are out.”

“We are here…” They arrived at Vulkanus’s lair, and sure enough his little gremlins came out with their pickaxes.

One of them pushed a mining cart up to them and tapped it. “No weapons sure sure.” Argit dropped a laser pistol.

They tried to walk inside till one of them pointed the axe at Kevin. “Ugh fine.”

Kevin brought out two laser pistols, a noisy cricket strapped to his ankle, a laser knife strapped to his thigh, a giga blaster strapped to the small of his back, and a literal laser pen in his pocket. Argit’s jaw dropped. “What, I’m crazy, but I’m not stupid!” They tried to go in again only to be stopped again. “Fine!” He reached into his pants and pulled out two marble grenades.

Sadly Vulkanus wasn’t stupid either, and with dealing with Kevin and Argit he was being extra cautious. They were allowed to enter his lair. “Kevin...Argit...so nice to see you, shall I kill you now or later?”

“Look Vulkanus we’re here to talk business. I heard you got some tech. I want to buy it.”

“Buy it huh?” He stroked his chin.

“Do you even have the tech?”

“Oh I got it, I’ve even confirmed it’s real.” He activated the Holo-Viewer revealing an image of Max Tennyson. “It’s funny you showed up asking for it. I was gonna use it to lure your little boyfriend into a trap so I could kill him.” Kevin and Argit tensed. “Thanks to him and his goodie two shoes cousin of his I’m stuck on this backwater world, with plumbers all over the place.”

“That’s not Benny’s fault.” Argit snapped.

“I don’t care who’s fault it is, I want off this backwater world before…” He cleared his throat.

“Before what?” Kevin asked. He was trying to keep calm even with Vulkanus threatening Ben.

“Well, you came here to discuss business. Selling this tech to you would be more profitable. I’m no fan of Ben Tennyson, but I’ve learned messing with magic users isn’t worth the money.” His eyes narrowed on Kevin. “But you Levin, you owe me big and the price for this gadget won’t be cheap.”

Levin sighed. “What do you want?”

Vulkanus smirked. “Strip…”

“Excuse me?”

“Strip now, or I’ll have them do it for you.” The pickaxe aliens stepped up.

So I can always have all I need.” His hand balled into a fist. “Of course since I’m stuck on this world, I don’t have access to my supply. The only Taydenite I have is this.”

He brought out a long box. “No way!” Argit gasped when Vulkanus opened the box. “That’s a…”

Kevin blushed. “A dildo of Taydenite?!” It was long and thick, and flawlessly smooth.

Vulkanus got a blaster and opened fire, thankfully Kevin was crystallized so he was protected. Argit dodged the man’s attacks, all while taking shots at the platform Kevin was bound to, breaking it and freeing Kevin. “Thanks Argit…”
