Chapter 2

Chapter 3 The Sun Rises In the East

Koby had been trapped on a pirate ship for two years. He made the mistake of getting on the wrong boat, and had been made a slave on the pirate Alvida’s ship. It was humiliating.

Iron Mace Alvida had become his captain/master, and his days of hell began. She was trying to break Koby, physically and mentally. Many of the crew tasks fell on him, and if he didn’t do it perfectly he got hit, if he didn’t do the job fast enough he got hit, and sometimes he got hit for the hell of it.

Every morning his clothes would get stolen and he’d be forced to work naked with the men on the crew laughing and teasing him. If he tried to say anything he got hit. Koby was given two options, either steal the clothes back or work to earn them back. He’d do the latter only for his clothes to be taken in the night once again.

During the day Koby had to feed Alvida’s ego, which was already pretty inflated. If he didn’t praise her the right way he got hit. He also had to service the men on the crew. They were just looking to get off so the pinkette made do with his hands and mouth.

If he ever got aroused the men would make him jerk off and make a mess of himself. “What a perverted little monkey!” They’d call him.

On every night Alvida would come to him with a question. “Will you become a pirate?” If he said yes the torment would stop, and Alvida swore Koby would be treated like any other member of the crew.

Koby always refused, in his heart he believed he didn’t want to be a pirate.

In the early days Koby always thought about escaping but that notion was beaten out of him. About a year in he was hoping the marines would find them and save him, though the reality was he’d likely be arrested as a member of the crew.

Six months after that Koby thought he finally caught a break, but it wasn’t. The marine ship belonged to Nezu, a mouse-like man who was deeply corrupted. He took bribes from pirates to ignore their crimes.

Alvida was paying him off, and the pinkette had no idea. So summoning his last ounce of courage he ran and tried to escape to the marines. Only to be brought back to Alvida and punished.

She gave Nezu a tip and tossed Koby to the crew to be used as a punching bag. Koby cracked, he always thought the marines were good and pirates were evil. Now he just felt hopeless. ‘Someone...anyone...please...save me…’ He had a thread of hope that whoever saved him had to be a hero.

If someone could take him away from this nightmare he swore he’d serve that person until the end. Deep down he always wanted to be a hero, to defend the weak and beat up bad guys, that had evolved into being a marine but at this point he’d take anything to escape and be free.

It needed to happen soon if Koby stayed with Alvida for one more year he’d break...

Grount and Luffy had spent years together, training and honing their skills. Garp had want Luffy, Ace, and Grount to become fine upstanding marines, but that didn’t quite work out. He also underestimated how observant Luffy was.

Garp used Shave to chase the boys, always making it hard/impossible for them to escape. Luffy tried to hide up in trees and Garp used Moon Walk to find him. Even trying to escape into the forest did nothing as Garp simply used Paper Art to maneuver his large body through the trees.

Their traps didn’t do anything as he defeated them with Finger Pistol, Iron Body, and Tempest Kick. Garp never explained these techniques or how to learn them, he wouldn’t unless they joined the marines. These abilities just made their Grandpa seem like even more of a monster.

Unfortunately for Garp, Luffy and Ace had met an old man, a former pirate who had sailed the Grand Line and seen some things. The man was even a skilled haki user, he was aware enough of the six powers to explain them. He had defeated a six powers master in the past, but the man who eventually defeated him was Gol D. Roger.

With the old man’s explanation and Luffy’s knack and creativity the rubber boy was able to grasp the six powers. Shanks always told him that a pirate needed all manner of skills to be a good pirate.

According to legend the Sun God Nika loved to dance and party, he could copy anyone’s dance moves, and this carried over to the battlefield as well. If Nika thought an opponent’s fighting style was cool, fun, or interesting he’d replicate it, given time he’d make it his own. What he knew he could pass on to others.

The Marines also had issue with defectors so they tried to keep certain combat secrets close to the vest.

When Grount joined up, Luffy helped pass on the techniques. Since they lacked proper study they didn’t know of any of the secret arts or advanced techniques.

Ace had also picked up the techniques before leaving. Luffy and Grount got to sharpen their skills by sparring with each other every day. It was said the six powers made one super human, Luffy and Grount were already monsters in their own right, they just needed a point in the right direction.

Heaven help the world had Garp given Luffy a peek at Haki. Even the old pirate felt Luffy was too young to grasp that kind of power.

They were finally ready to set sail, they got their supplies and a boat. The Lord of the Coast went at them, Luffy gave him a heavy punch, and Grount gave him an upper cut, his teeth were shattered.

Alvida was attacking a cruise ship, seeking to rob the people of their valuables and the liner of its supplies. Her men were itching for a fight, all except Koby who was using his hands to cover himself and he was trembling.

He was always worried Alvida was gonna kick him in the balls. Since he hadn’t earned his clothes back yet today he was bare ass naked. Alvida wanted him to go fight, but Koby didn’t want to do that, and he was too scared to speak up too.

“Ugh, make yourself useful then and take stock of the cargo you useless worm.” She kicked him in the ass and sent him tumbling. He went down below deck and found two men.

“Ehh?” The two were stuffing their faces with fruit and cheese.

Luffy and Grount. “Hi!”

“Who are you guys?!”

“I’m Luffy!” He smiled, giving a friendly wave.

Grount saluted him. “Name’s Grount!”

Koby was so stunned, he actually forgot he was naked. “What’s your name, and why are you naked?”

The pinkette looked down and gasped, quickly covering himself. “My...my name’s Koby!” His cheeks burned red.

“Tch, what you getting all shy for.” Grount clicked his tongue. Since having sex with Luffy and not needing to his his erections from the rubber man he’s gotten more in touch with his body.

“Lady Alvida takes my clothes, she makes me work for them.”

“You aren’t a pirate on this ship?” Koby shook his head no.

“I got taken, I’m basically a slave on her ship.” His words hit Grount pretty hard. He remembered seeing some Celestial Dragons do similar things to men, women, and others. Especially the minks and the fishmen, who were seen as less than animals, so why bother with clothes for them.

Luffy looked to Grount, and patted his shoulder. “Have you tried to escape?”

“I tried a few times, but I wasn’t able to...I even tried to turn to the marines, but he was scum and brought me back...and...and…” He began to tear up. “He gave Alvida a bill of sale.”

“What’s that?”

“It’s a fancy way of describing slavery, human shops offer a bill of sale to their customers, these are recognized by the World Government, it means no matter where he goes pirate or not Alvida has legal rights to him. Anyone who tried to help him would be labeled a criminal and arrested.” In some countries there were these “orphanages” that did this, the fate of the kids thinking they finally found a home were met with the reality they were a servant for life. They seemed really sweet and innocent on the surface but they would sell kids to pirates, nobility, marines, even the world government.

“Then it’s simple, we just gotta steal the bill and destroy it!”

“That’s crazy!” Koby gasped. “Why would you do that, you don’t even know me.”

Luffy tossed him a piece of fruit. “Come eat with this, that’ll be enough.”

It was too hard to believe. “Are you guys thieves or something, you don’t wanna mess with the Alvida pirates they are dangerous.”

Grount laughed. “We are better than thieves, we’re pirates ourselves.”

“Uh huh!” Koby couldn’t believe it, these two didn’t seem like pirates. “It’s just the two of us right now, but we’ll get more crew members soon.” The two shared a fist bump.

They hadn’t even intended to come here, they lost their ship and supplies do to a whirlpool, and they made their way to the nearest ship which happened to be Alvida’s.

The pinkette’s jaw dropped. ‘Can I trust them...they are pirates…’ He looked at them. ‘But they don’t seem like bad people…’

Luffy offered his hand. “Koby, do you want to be free?” The boy teared up, he reached out for Luffy’s hand.

“Hey Koby!” Three men came down to the storage room. “Skipping out on the fun huh?”

“We got some fun to show you!” One of the men said palming his erection through his pants.

Shave!

In a flash Luffy and Grount were gone and wham! Luffy kicked the first guy’s face into a wall, while Grount smashed a guy’s face into the wall.

“Who the hell are…” Pow! The two spun and did an upper cut sending the last guy into the ceiling.

“Wow!” Luffy reached his hand out to Koby again.

“Let’s go!”

They went to Alvida’s room, where there was a lot of pink, frills, and hearts. Even her bed was heart shaped. “Where’s the bill of sale?”

“She keeps it in her safe.” Koby was still holding the apple, he was too nervous to eat. “Only Lady Alvida knows the combination.”

“Finger Pistol!” Luffy poked the lock and broke it.

“How did you do that?”

“Martial Arts, you could do it to. With the right training.”

The safe was opened, and not only was there a bill of sale, but also a devil fruit! “Whoa, why does she have this?”

“Lady Alvida found it, she thought it might be a fake, so planned to sell it and make some cash.”

Luffy sniffed it. “No it’s a real devil fruit alright, I can tell!” He showed off that he was a power holder to, by stretching his cheek out.

“It does look kinda like the one’s you make.” As in it didn’t look like a normal fruit at all.

“You can...make devil fruits?” Koby was stunned again.

“Sure can...watch…” Luffy plucked a hair from his head and blew on it, the hair turned white. It flew off and sank into the apple turning it into a devil fruit.

“Whoa, I heard devil fruits give powers but make the sea hate you in kind.”

“Luffy’s fruits don’t do that, they do give you some power though.” Grount showed off by transforming his arm. “It gives you the strength of beasts!”

“It’s different every time though, my brother got wolf traits.”

“Can...can I eat this?” Luffy shrugged.

“Sure if you want to.” Koby took a bite.

His body pulsed and pulsed, his heart beating like a drum. Alvida’s men shaved him as a joke to tease and make fun of him. Pink manly hair blossomed above his crotch forming a treasure trail up to his navel. Hair grew along the seem of his balls. He got hair on his pits.

Grount watched as Koby’s baby fat melted away revealing some muscle, he got a smidge taller. Pink fur spread over his wrists up to his elbows, from his ankles up to his hips, around his neck, up along his sides, his straight hair got a little wilder, and he sprouted a pink monkey tail.

His face, pecs, abs, ass, hands, feet, and 90% of his balls remained hairless. Koby’s 3 inch rod tripled in size, reaching a full 9 inches. Grount whistled.

“So your spirit animal is a monkey, cool!” Luffy gave him a thumbs up.

Alvida had learned of their presence. As her men brought the spoils of combat down to storage and found the defeated me. “Lady Alvida we got trouble?”

“Trouble? Could it be Pirate Hunter Zoro? I heard he was locked up in Shell Town but he could have escaped.” She growled. “Find them!”

While her men searched the ship, she went to check the safe, finding the three. “Koby! What the fuck is this?!”

“Hey Koby...who’s the fat old lady!”

Ding Ding…

Alvida went berserk chasing them around the room, swinging her club. She wrecked her room and the boys escaped. Her men heard the ruckus and surrounded them. “You aren’t pirate hunter Zoro who the hell are you?”

‘Zoro?’ Luffy wondered. “I’m Monkey D. Luffy!”

“You can call me Monkey Grount!” He said cracking his knuckles.

“Never heard of either of you, what, are you a pair of brothers?”

“Lovers!” The two kissed. Koby blushed and his loins stirred. “And we are pirates.”

Since they were pirates under different flags that made them enemies. “I’ll let you two go free so long as you hand over that bill of sale, you can even keep that phony devil fruit, but that boy belongs to me.”

“Koby’s his own man, he can do what he wants.” Luffy said.

“That says otherwise.” She pointed the club at them.

“This?” Luffy ripped it up. “Ooops”

The pieces got scattered on the breeze. Alvida’s face got red with anger. “You rats!” She glared at Koby making the boy flinch. “Tell these fuckers who they are messing with.”

Koby gulped. “You made me praise you and stroke your ego for so long. I’ve always wanted to say this to you. You are...THE BIGGEST MEANEST UGLIEST COW IN ALL THE SEAS!” Alvida saw red. “I’m never gonna join your rotten crew, you are a bully and a bitch! I’m leaving and I hope I never see your stupid face again!”

“YOU’RE DEAD!”

Luffy and Grount busted up laughing.

Alvida’s men were a joke, the two didn’t even need to use the six powers to beat them. “Koby hold this!” Luffy tossed him the devil fruit, which the pinkette caught with his tail.

“Whoa cool!”

They showed off their devil fruit powers, making Alvida believe the fruit she had was real, and now Koby had it. “Get him!” Her men rushed Koby and the boy dodged their attacks.

Wham Pow!

Koby did a flip punching one and kicking the other. “Whoa...how did I…” Luffy’s fruit had awakened Koby’s fighting potential, like the minks who were born fighters at birth.

They couldn’t bully Koby anymore as the boy bounced and dodged, fighting back with some pretty decent strength. He was kicking ass all while holding the devil fruit.

Alvida jumped at him but Grount blocked her. “Iron Body!” He tanked the hit.

“Ugh what are you?” Grount just smirked.

“Kong!” He grabbed Koby and got them away from Alvida.

“I’ll make you a deal Koby, hand over that fruit and I’ll let you leave, you’ll have your freedom, just hand it over to me.”

No...he couldn’t do that, he didn’t know what devil fruit power this would give her, if she ate it she could hurt Luffy and Grount. He held the fruit tightly. “No way!”

“Then die!” She swung her club hard, only for Luffy to get in the way and bounce it back.

“Gum Gum...Pistol!” Wham! He hit her hard in the gut and sent her flying.

“Let’s give some payback!” Grount cracked his knuckles.

When the marines came by, they’d find the ship, all of Alvida’s crew members were stripped naked and tied up. Luffy, Grount, and Koby were long gone.

“So what are we gonna do with this?” Grount asked, tossing the devil fruit back and forth.

“Well I can’t eat it.” Luffy said with a shrug.

“Can either of us eat it then?”

“Dunno, my devil fruits are kinda weird and made by me I don’t know how they resonate with actual devil fruits.”

“Yeah well, here.” Grount passed the fruit to Koby. “Way I see it, you put up with that cow for two years, this is yours, you can eat it if you want or sell it for a lot of money.”

“You can start a whole new life!”

“Can...can I come with you guys?” Luffy and Grount shared a look. “I won’t be a bother, I know how to sale and do things, I can learn to fight and…”

“Koby...you can come with us!”

“I can?”

Grount nodded.

“You can!”

He was so happy he finally got his appetite back, without thinking he took a bite of the fruit.

Thankfully for Koby and Ace, Luffy’s devil fruits were technically artificial, made by the power of a god. They gave power drawing out the beast of one’s soul, nothing more nothing less, so one could gain more power by eating one of the cursed fruits.

On this day Koby received both a blessing and a curse. That didn’t matter to him right now, because he had his freedom!
