ABOUT

AETV allows playing random videos from multiple folders.

IMPORTANT:
this is for the latest VAM that got updated last week (1.21.x), won't work on 1.20 or lower.

DEMO CHANNELS

AETV comes with 3 channels that get created when you first run the plugin, you can delete them if you don't want them. There's also a .json in /Saves/AETV, if you delete that too AETV will reinstall the channels next time it runs. The demo videos have no sound, made it so to keep the file size low.

MORE AETV

This was a quick plugin I made while checking out the new changes in VAM. If you like it let me know and I'll put more work in future updates. There are lots of stuff that can be done, including pseudo-TV ( simulate the channels running on a real schedule), channel logos and slideshow channels (images + songs) but I'm not sure if there's a crowd for that around VAM

If you like it please leave a good review on the hub, it would help me make more!

Twice when opening this has caused a force close of vam.

I like this! I do have a problem with the Audio though, it is cutting in and out very rapidly. I have it muted for now. It does it on just some videos in desktop mode and all videos in VR. I have no idea why and am not even sure where to start looking for the problem.

Does it happen on all videos or just some? I never tried it with very big videos so that might be an issue too, Performance too, by default vam goes for as many frames as possible, on some videos I imagine it's gonna struggle to render them. Using MacGruber's FrameLimiter from his Essentials pack might help with that. I'll do some tests with larger videos to see if I can reproduce the issue
