NEWS: August review, Alive, WxM (Patreon)

It's been another crazy month with lots of updates and a ton of support received that I'm very appreciative of! Alive received 4 big updates in August, one each week. There were 2 new plugins created and shared as free to help the community: Inventory & Factory.  Another 2 plugins, Ticklish & Footsteps, went free this month. There were also 2 new models shared and the AEFilters effects pack.

There has been a lot of work on other things too in the background, some I showcased a bit like BodyStudio & audio visualization. We're not there yet at the next patreon goal but I couldn't help myself and started working on that next phase of Alive and pushing it towards a waifu simulator!

ALIVE

Alive is going to keep getting regular updates in September too, the plan is to do better sounds, more interactions/reactions and smarter idle behavior and push it towards a great general-use plugin like E-motion or Cue.

WAIFU EX MACHINA

The inspirations are VR Kanojo & Joi from Blade Runner, so WXM is gonna aim towards that direction of virtual companionship. It's an intermediary step for what I had in mind with Aeternum initially,  I'll concentrate on interaction with a single character and try to make that as rich & immersive as i can.

This is going to be the next level for Alive and a much bigger project as a whole that will contain:
- a  modular/os-like home-scene that i'm very excited about
- AI logic for discussions/chat, memory/persistent effects, interaction with the scene and more awareness to what's going on
- mini-games and things to do, the results of which have consequences on the overall experience, not just scenes in a void which are a snorefest
