just a small thing, Lelouch does not know Lancelot is piloted by Suzaku, so there is no point for him to use geass on Suzaku. All he knows is that Suzaku works in the military, and as a Japanese, most people would assume Suzaku has no chance of even touching, let alone piloting such an advanced nightmare frame.

The reason that Cornellia was talking about Lelouch and Nunally like that is because their siblings all believe that they died during Britannia's invasion of Japan.

Difference between Light and Lelouch is that Lelouch is very emotional compared to Light especially when it comes to Nunally... That's why he's so eager to go to tell her the news and why he couldn't immediately figure things out...he was in panic.... 20:40 Lelouch, Nunnally, Clovis, Euphy and Cornelia all are at similar age, they grew up together, until Lelouch's mother was killed and he brought Nunnally to Japan, lived with Suzaku's father, prime minister( or whatever title) Kururugi. When the invasion happened he and Nunnally hid and got new identities by links to Ashford family, the president of the student coucil's family that knew him. So Lelouch and Nunnally were presumed dead to all the royal members.

Also C.C. criticized Lelouch before for only changing his last name instead of first too despite his secrecy. So the princesses are talking about Lelouch and Nunnally vi Britania, whom they presume to be dead, with no idea about their Lamperouge school identities.

The "experience" stuff they were talking about when mentioning Lelouch and Shirley fight is that they were speculating that Lelouch probably attempted to cross the line of having couple physical intimacy (that's why Nina blushed), in case you didn't catch that. And this episode explained why Suzaku is behaving the way he has been, despite being very aware of all the shit Britannia has done during the war. Code Geass had a slow start, but for me personally, the episodes from now onwards are all bangers

Of course they know who lelouch is, there are his half siblings, however they do not know lelouch is still alive at the school, lelouch goes by lelouch lamperouge to conceal his connection to the royal family, his real name is lelouch vi Britannia, they also haven't met lelouch face to face (after his supposed death).

You'll come to enjoy it more eventually. It's pacing in the beginning is fairly weak. Similar to how you felt about re zero season 2, code geass really peaks during the last episodes of both seasons. Think of CG as a geopolitical soap opera.

I imagine the Geass' command to "shoot" Mao left enough wiggle room in the police's heads to try their best not to kill him. And they immediately administered first aid afterwards and rushed him to a hospital after realizing they just shot a dude, for apparently no reason, who was at best a maniac with a chainsaw, from what they knew.

Lelouch doesn't brainwash Suzaku to not fight against him because Lelouch doesn't KNOW Suzaku is fighting against him. As far as Lelouch knows, Suzaku is just part of the engineering corps.

I don't really understand why Lelouch just stood there in despair when one chess piece was left. Of course, he didn't know that the bomb had been defused, but all the means for the last desperate measure were present. Just slam your fist into the opposite side of the scale, goddamnit! Life or death situation is not the time to play by the rules!

So, to explain the Cornelia/Euphemia conversation clearly- no, neither of them know that Lelouch and Nunnally are alive. They knew them as children, because they are half siblings. Lelouch is using the last name Lamperouge instead of his real full name of Lelouch vi Britannia while staying at Ashford. The Ashford family took him and his sister in after their exile. At Lelouch's request, they are keeping this a secret, and none of his siblings have heard any news about them for years. They assume he died. And yes, Cornelia, Euphemia, and even Clovis cared a good deal for Lelouch and Nunnally.

He knows Suzaku doesn't want to directly fight Brittania from the conversation they had when Zero rescued him, but I don't believe he's aware that Suzaku pilots the Lancelot, I don't think he knows who that pilot is. I'm pretty sure he would have used his power on Suzaku if he was aware of that, there are a lot of positions in the military so he probably doesn't suspect, especially seeing as he said at the start "I thought you were in engineering"

it's so obvious lelouch didn't want to know if suzaku would succeed, or what suzaku would even try to do exactly. did you forget the part where Mao can READ LELOUCH'S MIND? Mao even said that when he just concentrates on one person he can hear their real deepest thoughts. so having a ''secret'' plan wouldn't be a secret from Mao at all...

I'm not 100% sure on why what C.C. said was translated as "C's world," when the word she used was "shinsekei." Breaking the word apart, "shin" means death, "sekei" means world. All I can say for sure, is that she certainly issekei'd Mao.

As a reminder to the conversation of the princesses in the garden. The Britanian royal family believes Lelouch and Nunnaly to have died in the attack when Lulu and Nunnaly's mother was killed. They do not realize that they are still alive. Lelouch and Nunnaly's last name is "Vi Britania", but to hide that, they're using the last name of "Lamperouge". It's not very clever honestly lol. I feel like you're watching so many shows at once that you're having trouble remembering finer details like this, so I just wanted to refresh your memory. I hope it helps. Love your content, Luke.

and btw `shi` is death, `shin` means `new`, so it could be a New World (shin sekai), a World of Death (shi no sekai), or a World of C (C no sekai) tbh it could even be a wordplay/punchline on both World of C and World of Death, meaning he will die but he will be "united" with her finally - which seems to be probable when she said before "I loved you"

I watched a bunch of bomb defusal videos before and the guy said that the cords are there to power the bomb so you can cut all the wires and the bomb will be defused, since there would not be any power. It was a while since I watched the videos so I don’t remember the details but the point is that “the cut the right wire dilemma” doesn’t exist in reality when it comes to bombs.

thats not true actually, there are some bombs that have sensors now and backup internal power sources so cutting all the wires will trigger the bomb, most advanced bombs are not as simple as just cut a wire and your difused. theres also other methods of triggering them such as light sound motion etc

Lelouch is the youngest sibling of the other Britannian royal family members. They are all siblings with different mothers. Marianne was Lelouch's mother who was killed before the series began. Lelouch was deported to Japan to act as a "hostage" with the Kururugi family when his faction lost all power after Marianne's death, since it was assumed his viability for the throne was over. Later, the Ashford family took him in and granted him and Nunnally asylum and a place to live (their residence at the academy), as well as new identities. They had been both presumed dead during Britannia's invasion of Japan, and Lelouch took that opportunity to hide in plain sight at Ashford Academy.
