Why would you rewatch Overlord Openings when you didn't even watch the Anime yet? the whole point for rewatching is the knowlage you gain through watching the anime so you understand und see different things with the openings...

Ive wanted this for so long!! cant believe you're finally revisiting them! For some sort of anniversary or maybe sub count you should watch your reaction to the first episode purely because it would be extremely funny to see you react to your old self with all your crazy theories

I recommend just rewatching the OP/ED for the anime you’ve watched in full, where you’ve gained new context. As for which OP/ED I’d like to see revisited, my votes are for Kaguya-sama and Violet Evergarden.

Some new endings to watch is the Kara no kyoukai ones, they are full length songs and there is 10 of them, but they are all super good. Start with the song "Oblivious" by Kalafina. The show is also amazing!

People just do not realise how important the first part of season 3 is, everyone says the pacing is slow or it's boring, that part actually had a lot of decent action, one of the most cleanest animated scenes, and introduces us to a lot of very important information.

My favorite season was three. The episode where Levi’s “Kennyyyyyyyy” set us up and running where the plot took an unexpected turn. Loved your reaction to this! It truly showed your love & passion you have for AOT. I would suggest you do the endings as well. Please continue with this format. So highly entertaining.

It’s obvious how much you love AOT😄 - and enjoyable to watch! Maybe it’s just me, but I would also enjoy you watching your own first reaction to the openings 😆 (maybe if it hits 1Mil views? Haha). Since i know you are rewatching AoT with your wife i should ask you this: Did you catch up the hints and foreshadows of whats going to happen? Theres bunch of stuff sprinkled all over the first few seasons that you wouldnt normally pay attention to but once you seen it all you start noticing them IMPORTANT!!! Since you are about to start Overlord reaction after Re:Zero (according to the vote) you might want to keep the re-reaction of the openings for after you finished the anime

I still find it amazing to think that Eren KNEW everything that was going to happen from the instant he woke up in season 1 episode 1. The writing in this series is beyond brilliant, and I cannot think of ANYTHING close to it.

As someone who did not enjoy watching the first two seasons of AoT, the third season is my favorite, and I'd gladly say it's incredible. Even if it's at least partially because I was only able to recognize good animation when I got to that point in the story. I actually started that season because of some amazing looking clips from some well edited AMVs (so thanks for that, Tumpy GFX)

The arrow I feel like represents Eren's drive to move forward. A decisive arrow flys straight for where it's aimed. As for the fire around it, it's also a reference to the first opening Feuerroter Pfeil und Bogen which is german and translates to Bow and Arrow as red as fire

i would absolutely love to see a similar video for the endings too - knowing where the story goes and seeing the foreshadowing in the endings (especially how early the foreshadowing is too, im looking at you ending 3) is just mind blowing

OP 3 is still my favorite. It scared the absolute shit out of me when I first saw it. The juxtaposition of the tone between it and the other 3 openings made me think "Oh shit, they're gonna kill off everyone this season!"

Oh AoT season 3 is great, first part might be more people conflict oriented but still has great action... Levi vs Kenny, Historia family stuff... I love how the 5th openings ties the previous ones from Linked Horizon together. And S3 part 2 I loved Erwin as leader. And yes these OPs are so spoilery 😁 Oh and SIM... that reminds me you could react to other openings they did, for example Rage of the Bahamut 'Existence' and 'Let it end'. For Game of thrones... I liked it till the 2 last seasons, I watched them but I could see the quality going so down. There is so much stuff in books that there didn't need to rush it so much. Check out Babylon 5, when I was watching AoT only B5 came to my mind when I saw the 'planting of seeds' and foreshadowing done. They are very similar in giving the watcher bits that can be pierced together.

A lot of series' that have a >12 episode season have multiple openings. Remember there are nine openings for essentially four seasons. OP number != Season number

For the season 2 opening 1, I read a YouTube comment that said the animals in which the hearts are highlighted are animals that are considered predators in the food chain, with the Beast Titan running in front or on par with the dinosaurs. It was an interesting observation!

Same thing, I have 100 Mbps. And I understand that my router can sometimes limit the speed due to other devices. But for this purpose, humanity has invented buffering of the video stream, Patreon has buffering, but it is useless because the quality still jumps. The only thing that helps is reloading the page... It would seem that Patreon has a lot of money from subscription fees, it's not a free service, their main focus is video playback, and they can't make a normal player... It drives me crazy, especially when the quality drops to the point where I can't read the subtitles, and when I reload I get 1080p...

11:00 I never saw an explanation in the anime for why the Beast Titan is charging with a battle line of Giraffe, Dinosaur, flying Whale and so on. After watching the last part of s4 I suppose it could be a reference to the assorted Beast forms the Beast titan has had over the last 2,000 years.

I think you missed a few of the OVAs episodes. Maybe as a reaction channel will not get as many views but for an attack in titan fan it would be a shame to not see them. There are 5 episodes you missed: Lost girls ova series- 3 episodes ( focusing on Annie and Mikasa character stories behind the main event). The sudden visitor episode (a rivalry episode between Sasha and jean taking place in season 1). Distress episode (another season 1 OVA focusing on the 104th cadet corps solving a case). I really hope you will not give up on these. 💜

tbh I was one of the ppl who hated the ending on the manga, but man when I saw it animated i almost cried, Im glad they changed a few sentences of Eren and Armin goodbye from, Now I can say even if ppl still hate it for me its one of if not the strongest anime, just an amazing journey from start to finish, anime ending > manga ending 100000% of the time

favorite season is s3 part 2 SPOILER AHEAD The part where they had to choose between armin and the erwin, who to live and who to die. And you also had the beast titan vs levy as well and everyone got wiped when erwin brainwashed everyone to give their life for the mission to give levy a chance to defeat beast titan. I think that was PEAK attack on titan that whole season. SPOILER UPSIDE

29:15 There are many meanings to the arrow, but the simplest one is that Jäger(Jaeger) means Hunter in German. Which is why Eren is shown with a bow and an arrow.

It is funny you mentioned that "they didn't listen to us" and that the story was "already written". They did change it for us from the manga. Ending for manga was hated, but they did save it for the anime. Especially some of the comments Armin made "Thank you for becoming a mass murderer for us", did get changed to be more reasonable.

!!! Slight spoilers for Steins;Gate !!! For me my favorite is Steins;Gate for the same reason you gave AoT. Everything links, with Steins;Gate even both seasons conclude in the perfect way. It is a complete story, which you can rewatch so many times. You will pick up more things along the way. This is as vague as I can keep it without spoiling things, but just in case I leave spoiler warning.

Yeah, the Monogatari series is a masterpiece from the beginning to the end and probably also the most rewatchable anime (even more so than AoT) because of all of the little details reagarding the story or characters that you normally miss when watching it for the first time. Well, in Japanese 紅蓮の弓矢 (Guren no Yumiya) means Crimson Bow and Arrow. Which is also the first opening title.

I can believe Luke finished an anime before me lol. I still havent seen the last two episodes (was waiting for them to get dubbed) and while I CAN watch them now. Its been announced that theyre gonna show the last two episodes together in theaters in 4DX... so yeah Ill wait... watch it on a huge screen, large surround sound speakers, with the actual in theater mist, fog, rain and smoke effects plus seats that keep up with the high action (I remember seeing the Broly movie in 4DX... after that movie was over I literally felt like I got my ass beat by Broly lol... I do it everytime an anime comes to theaters now) cant wait
