something I just noticed is that Garou attacking the tanktop gang moves in a similar way as Wamuu/Wham in JJBA when he does the thing to the people in rome (not wanting to go into too much detail since Luke hasn't watched JoJo's yet, but anyone who's watched both, do you know what I mean?)

And you didn't see anything close to Tatsumaki's real power yet (and from a few other S class heroes). In the manga she's shown her full capabilities. I hope they'll show it in season 3, even if I guess we'll have to wait 546 years for that season to come out.

yeah.. to be honest.. all these martial arts seems kinda lame and boring.. like they just punching and kicking etc.. except ofc Silver Fang martial art the fist of flowing water or something.. that one looks legit and epic.. :D

2024-01-22 14:39:56 Zero Shonen Personally I find the Tatsumaki vs Ps***Or**** fight was more impressive. That's really what I'm waiting for the most personally. But even just to reach that point, they'll need a season longer than just 12 eps.

It's more like he needs to do what other streamers do and turn chat to emote only. He reads chat way too much and doesn't pay attention, then he ends up asking questions that were already answered but he missed or questions that are about to be answered soon.

I don't remember if the show tells you, but Metal bat basically adds damage he takes to his attack. Let's make up some numbers. Metal Bat hits you for 10 damage. You hit Metal Bat for 10 damage. Metal bat now hits you for 20 damage. etc.

I am really glad he's enjoying season 2 a lot and i do agree it's completely over hated - the story and characters are way better in this season and I can see why someone would prefer it to season 1, but I just can't agree that the animation is just as good. Season 1 had some of the best action animation in all of anime and you could see Madhouse staff pouring so much love into it while season 2 animation is average at best. Again, I do think it's over hated by people calling it shit, but it's just not comparable to season 1

Season 2 isn't bad, but the way they draw metal is just atrocious. FFS, you have a cyborg as one of the main characters! Would it not be justified to make him not as painful to look at?

I feel like it's good to acknowledge the staff that worked on a project with such passion and dedication so I don't think it's a bad thing to point out and talk about great passion projects in anime - it may lead to more incredible projects like that in the future

a lot of the monsters in season 1 had a backstory where they led off by saying "i was a human and did blah blah blah and turned into this"

Not gonna lie... Goketsu pretty much feels like one huge Akuma from Street Fighter reference. Especially his design. Well, except for the monster parts of course, like his eyes.

TRIVIA: There is a Song from JAM-Project for the unrelated show GARO, called "Savior in the Dark". Not relevant for One Punch Man. But JAM-Project also performed One Punch Man's openings. as I kid I must have been evil, because I also sympathized with the villains just like garou for some reason and wished they got a chance sometimes too in the shows haha
