2024-01-22 21:08:28 To the question, what happens if he dies again? He never died, the whole point is that whatever the screen is, it prevented our guy from dying, that would imply that getting killed for real is still what will happen.

Great reaction! I watch a lot of reactors, many of whom I love to watch, but I always look forward to yours the most each week. I've read the manhwa and also the web novel (I caught up with the manhwa and had to read the web novel because I was so addicted way back when lmao). I've been waiting for this adaptation for like... before I even thought it was a possibility. Before they were even adapting manhwa. I love it. it's everything I ever wanted and they made so many smart decisions on how they adapt little things. I'm a writer and I have a big appreciation for good adaptation. I think anyone who wants to become a writer, the easiest way to learn is to watch adaptations, because it gives you a glimpse into creative decision making. Anyway, you wondered why Joohee didn't visit him. My interpretation is that she felt ashamed of herself, because she's been staying traumatized in bed all day essentially, and even didn't go on to help with a D Rank gate. It's worth saying that taking care of gates isn't just a livelihood but, as shown by the gate reports, a necessary task that keeps society safe. Joohee who is a B Rank healer could arguably be doing a lot more good for the world, South Korea, her city and the people she cares for by going on harder raids. But now she's too traumatized to even go to D Rank Gates. Especially since she's a healer, a person who would directly save lives, I'd imagine it's rather shameful. So, she goes to visit Sung Jin-Woo, the person who faced more trauma than her in that incident, and sees that he's still working hard. Now she's even more ashamed of herself. She's a B Rank who can't even bring herself to enter gates anymore, while Sung Jin-Woo is someone who literally had his leg cut off (I suppose in this world it might be normal to have one healed back by a first-rank healer, perhaps she assumed someone did it when they rescued him) and he's already back on the grind and literally running. I think she feels that she's not good enough for him, and drags him down even though she's the B Rank and he's the E Rank.

I'm glad you mentioned the OPM workout. I saw that and was like "Wow...really? I hope he doesn't go bald." But, yeah, the penalty is WAY WORSE than the training. This is such a good series. Glad I started it.

So the "System" didn't revive Jin Woo. He was on the brink of death with 0.02 seconds before his heart stopped and healed him fully when he accepted becoming a "Player." I dont think its like a mandatory thing... its probably in the sense of if you accept a daily quest and dont finish it - you get penalty quest. Also the penalty was actually equal. He had to exercise and the penalty literally made him run for 4 hours

Man what a bs cliffhanger. Just last week I was joking to myself what if solo leveling is about some npcs in a video game not knowing they are in a video game and then somehow they magically becomes a "player." My thinking is everyone has the potential to improve themselves up to a certain degree. It's really weird how you cannot improve no matter how much you try. Only npcs in games cannot improve. Unless they are some important plot character with an amazing backstory. Then this episode reveals how an unknown disease started when the gates appeared and we know if these gates are left alone too long, they get bigger and monsters invade through. That makes me think those gates are leaking magic, another dimension is bleeding through. What if it's just 2 worlds or 2 video game worlds are bleeding into each other. Also the guy didn't die last episode. He almost did....I don't think this show has any sort of reviving system. If you die, you die. I don't see any of the party killed walking around like they all right or people magically regaining limbs.

Actually it's quite broken because as long as he keep doing daily quest without levelling up, he could have very high stats as a level 1. Remember what he said about reawakening? People can only hone their combat skills so much but their rank stays the same unless the reawakening happens to them. So if he get stronger through training, the ranking system doesn't apply to him at all.

I've read the Manhwa on Tapas online and I'm now buying the paperback version as well as the novel. Tapas just added the novel on their site but I want to have it in paper form too. I would have preferred it in hardback but will take what I can get. The paperback is a good size and is just like the online version. But I hate to think how much I've spent on this series, lol.

Although Patreon is safer for Copyright, that is only because it follows the true copyright guidelines, unlike YouTube. Meaning reaction content on here is fair use and therefore shouldn't need to be blurred. However it still needs to be reaction content, so it needs to be the smaller screen to remain safe. I have had issues in the past which resulted in videos being removed. Hope this answers your question. If other channels are doing this, they shouldn't be.

it´s not even just patreon guidelines, it´s general copyright-guidelines. From what i learned when looking up some other stuff (important: very much simplified and rough, since copyright-stuff can be quite complicated) you can say something along the lines of "if you´re creating reaction-content, your reaction must make up the majority of the content. The reaction must be the focus, rather than the content you are reacting to". Making the video cover at maximum less than 50% of the screen is one part to staying within that guideline, pausing the video for reacting and commenting is another one. Blurring the image is an additional safety-net, especially on youtube, but as i said: it´s quite complicated in that regard, and no matter what you do, it never becomes 100% safe for the creator.
