I love Mashle. It is so much fun. It is indeed a parody of Harry Potter, with everything you would expect: Wands, magic school, robes, houses, brooms, all the ordeal. The peculiarity about the MC is that he does not have any magic power AT ALL, but has to fake it because in this society everyone uses magic, and those who can't are treated as criminals

I did some calculations, an if Luke watch 5 episodes a week, it will take him around 13,4years to finish all 8 big animes, and that does not include movies, Boruto and Fairytail. Dear Luke, i hope you have a plan, els i turn 48 when you are done xD

Another day hoping you would check out some donghua (chinese animation) OPs. Really recommend: Da Wang Rao Ming (Spare me Great lord), and Wu shan Wu xing (Fog Hill of Five elements). Both have great openings. Plus recommend checking out Lookism, a korean animation with Opening from Ateez.

OP will end in a few years. We are in the final saga, so it depends how much the author wants to flash it out. I think this is the best time to start it, because the hype is at its max in the community, and will be one hell of a journey

Toei, the animation studio behind One Piece, must believe every viewer is a manga reader because they spoil constantly in their openings and titles. The new opening gives away nearly every major reveal of the current arc. I feel sorry for anime onlys.

Little Witch Academia is another show that is basically anime Harry Potter, and I highly recommend checking out the openings and endings. It was made by Studio Trigger, and is really great.

I really hope he sees this. I couldn't agree more. We really need some love for hidden gems and other genres besides action heavy shounen. Nothing wrong with continuing to watch shounen, but if he is going to add more streams I want to be able to look forward to some variety.

Its not a new anime but I recommend checking out eureka seven and gargantia on the Verdurous Planet I think you'd really like both of them cos they have mechs.

Mashle = Saitama personality + mob psycho main character design + black clover world. It's a parody of both harry potter and black clover i'd say. You have to watch it like you watch eminence in shadow through that lense. NO CARS, it's literally same world as black clover, magic is everything and he doesn't have magic at all. He only has 0.1% of saitama full power. Which makes him probably strongest in that universe.

Oh, I remember the 1st op from Mashle from last year, haven’t watched it, I just know is above average. I am kinda disappointed in 2nd op, it started very strong but it never flourished and the refrain was mediocre at best. Probably I feel like this because the op stated very good and also I have high hopes about Creepy Nuts. MC really looks like Harry Spotter😂 Ed1 noice👌Sweets probably are a continuous gag😂Ed 2 Tokyo drift🔥. This One Piece Op gotta be one of the best and yeah Start Gate was great😄Through One Piece there will be dark times where you must use One Pace, a version which makes longer episodes and removes fillers, recaps and pacing moments. I remember watching Punk Hazard arc with normal episodes because the quality of one pace episodes in that period seemed very low, but man the pace was horrible there. Whatever big anime you’ll start you will like it

With One Piece I would see as an option also to just wait till the remake starts to air. That could start as soon as 2025 and it will most likely condense a lot of the show since one piece has a problem with just fluffing the episodes with anything that would waste time, but keep enough new stuff that you wouldn't wan't to skip the episodes.

Nah One Pace cuts out a ton of nice and meaningful scenes with the crew, not to mention it messes up the tension and importance of a ton of scenes.

You people who say this are crazy, they are not condensing the show it's still gonna be a long ass show. they aren't going to just cut content, sure it'll get better pacing but it's still gonna take them at least 10 years or more to get up to date. You also don't realize it's Wit and their track record for how long it takes for another season to come out doesn't look to great.

For One Piece if you decide to watch the filler there's 98/1090 episodes of filler and that's 10% total, as for Naruto has 91/220 episodes and Naruto Shippuden 203/500 episodes, both having the exact 41% of filler, so for One Piece won't be bad since the filler episodes are arcs that are enjoyable and fit in the timeline of the show, while for Naruto and NS there are some arcs, but the majority are random episodes, especially in NS that goes back and forth between the past and present that makes it insufferable to watch.

you... you want to watch... filler with one piece ...? Does this mean you'd do the same with Naruto...? You know one piece reached 1000 episodes and Naruto has like 500 or something, right? O_O ... Good luck sir. I mean, yeah I've probably seen that much anime by now, but I get through anime like that by binging 5-10 episodes at a time so it's hard to imagine restricting myself to only one or two episodes a day with that many total, lol. P.S. in case no one's mentioned it Naruto is immediately followed by Naruto Shippuden. It's one storyline that doesn't complete at the end of Naruto, there's a time skip then you get Shippuden.

Luke: "What is this Mashle anime no one has ever mentioned it before". Me: "Are you fucking kidding me Luke! I spent 6 months pushing HARD on votes for the OP/ED of Mashle..." To be honest you are pretty close in your assessment of the show, but it would be closer to say that Mashle is a mix of Harry Potter and One Punch Man. It's a comedy/fantasy/action series. The MC Mash has a very strange and downright unhealthy obsession with cream puffs hence the 1st ED is all about cream puffs. The 2nd ED just makes absolutely no sense is totally confusing and does not tie into the series at all other then the characters, since the show is set in a fantasy world there's no cars.

The problem with One Piece filler is that it has the philosophy that the things that happen should never influence the canonical story. So no matter what happens in the filler episodes, they will never be mentioned in the main story, anything special that happens to the crew will be reset by the end of the filler arc, and it will for all intents and purposes put the story back into the exact place it was before the filler started. If the arcs serve no narrative purpose then the only thing they do is to throw off the pacing of the story that was actually meant to be told (based on the source material).

One Piece is pretty much changing it's animation style with every arc. It's less noticeable for the early arcs since they didn't have today's technology yet. But for the later arcs, it's very visible.

About the fillers on One Piece, you should decide for yourself which ones to watch, cuz there are some really good ones, but also kinda bad ones. Maybe letting chat vote could work as well (But if you want to watch it all, I honestly would watch it with you)

To put it easy, it is just a shortened/combined word as there are a lot in the Japanese language like Brapi (Brad Pitt) or Sumaho (Smart Phone) ...etc. Further information will be a spoiler, but Mashle is a combination between the main protagonist's name (Mash Burnedead) and Muscle. By the way, the Katakana word for Muscle(筋肉) is マッスル

For One Piece new arc, the brought Hiroshi Kitadani the same singer that sung the very first opening "We are" and Maki Otsuki the same singer that sung the very first ending "Memories". Even the new Ending has some nostalgic "Memories" vibes.
