So the reason Kuzuki backed off was because Saber was back up. His style of fighting is only effective when he catches his opponents off guard and to kill them quickly. Once Saber was back up it would not have worked a second time.

If you like the assassin in this, there is another series that does a better job of portraying him, Sasaki Kojiro, a samurai from history. The series name is Record of Ragnarok. The manga is absolutely stunning, but I have heard mixed reviews of the anime unfortunately. It is a fantastic series, and well worthy of attention though. Oh, and this isn't a spoiler, as Saber said his name at the end of the encounter, as she recognized who he was at the end.

I think kuzuki actually has one of the most realistic views on other ppl that people have unconsciously on strangers. Sure it's sad that ppl die all over the world or in your city but honestly I think majority of ppl really don't care if that persons a stranger to them.

Honestly think UFO Table made mistake of not remaking Fate Stay Night in their own style too, that way there would now be all 3 routes made by UFO Table as almost nobody reacts to the old 2006 version.
