If they are from the original people, why are they dicks? I'll explain how the tombstone got from the island to Japan. The spacecraft crew wanted to go down to the point on Earth that was furthest from the light source. This was the island we are on now, Senku's father came up with the 100 stories on the island. In one of them it is said that you should go off the island and sail to Japan to help Senku later. The tombstone should then be taken with them as it is a time capsule for Senku that he would not otherwise get. A few hundred years later, the crew's descendants split up. One part stayed on the island and the other part sailed to Japan with the stone

Really don't get why Luke is so confused on this point. It was clear from the moment we were informed in s1 that Ishigami village is a different island from where the astronauts came down, so clearly people had to have migrated from that island to the mainland and must've therefore brought the headstone with them, probably under Byakuyas instructions through the 100 Tales. It doesn't take a genius to work this out.

The only issue with this is that it was implied that many different groups of villagers attempted to make it to Japan and failed, the Ishigami village people are the decendants of the only group that succeeded. It's not impossible, but it's extremely convenient that the one group that succeeded happened to have the tombstone and none of the failed attempts brought it with them and lost it.

My only thing against doctor stone is that end bit of the scuba diving. I'm not sure you can hold your breath like that at 20m. That would make him pop to the surface or potentially his lungs would explode from the pressure of the oxygen expanding at depth in his lungs. I'm being too critical cause it's an anime, but always breathe in and out continuously while scuba diving. It prevents possible injury, illnesses, or causes of death to how the pressure of diving at depth affects oxygen in your blood and lungs.

I dont think theres any evidence for this but I like to think the group that made it did so because they did something different, so it wasnt a problem for them to make multiple trips back and forth afterwards. These trips would then end sometime later when the island leaders prohibited it, then it was forgotten.

Well, thanks to this anime and these streams...I am now a sub over dub person. Also, the fact that signs and such are always in the sub but rarely in the dub also helps. So congrats on converting me.

senku's dads VA played a side character in my favorite anime gintama for the entire runtime, except in the last movie after 15 years of airing the VA suddenly changed, and thats how i found out...

unfortunately the sattlite would not be up there for byakuya to see floating. Even in low earth orbit, there is some drag. the space station would probably crash in less than 20years or so with no orbital corrections.
