YES, STARK!!! Let's GO! Next episode will be EPIC, just you wait :D "Couldn't they fly"? They could, but not that far. And there are also reasons that would not allow that, you will undertand in the next episode. Also, just because it took the Heroes Group 10 years to get there, it does not mean they went STRAIGHT AHEAD to that place, without detours; they had to combat all his minions back and forth in the way, to protect the citizens from the Demon King army, until finally having the chance to face him directly in his castle up north.

Not all. And it wasn't a "detour". They were sent where they were needed the most. The "detour" was anything between where they were and where they had to go. Fighting with the demons army was their goal, not just a detour.

I know. But that's why they took ten years to complete the "quest". Frieren and Fern, so far, do not have to face the same ordeals to get there :)

Getting to the end of the journey and having the treasure be a metaphor is every One piece fans greatest fear. Just imagine we’re finally on episode 2000 and the crew just find a note saying “the real treasure is the friends you made along the way”😂😭

Did he just said "Heavenly Delusion"!! I am really happy that this anime will come after Parasyte, because the mystery is so damn good, so well made that you have to find answers yourself, because sometimes the show gives you every piece to solve a certain question, but doesn't tell you the answer anyway, so i enjoyed that whole season that we had.

when I first saw that the only words of Himmel's illusion, which are built from memories, were "Frieren, shoot" with a look of determination it really blew my mind, it really shows you a small glimpse of what kind of person was Himmel, or at least Frieren's perspective of him

I always assumed that Frieren saying we should avoid the monster was just her way of testing Fern. We've already seen her stop off in another town to defeat a demon they sealed away decades ago that she could have just as easily ignored. So Frieren actually feeling like leaving citizens to their demise against monsters would be out of character especially since she knows Himmel wouldn't do that.

2023-11-13 13:44:39 It's interesting the way the creator named the characters, in my language Stark is means "strong" and Himmel means "sky" or "heaven". The guy named strong is a warrior, and the guy named heaven/sky is blue like a sky and also fits the journey they are going on to find "heaven". Really excited to see which direction the anime will take!

I feel like the reason she went back for the sealed demon, was because it was unfinished business for her. I don't think Frieren sees herself as a some kind of saint or a hero, who has to go out their way to save everyone. For a person just travelling somewhere, it makes perfect sense to want to avoid danger/conflict, if they can. If the villagers had directly asked her for help, I think she wouldn't have minded helping, just like she did now since Fern brought it up - but if she had been travelling alone, I think she would've just taken a long way around and avoided the monster.

This is exactly why I subscribe to got games. This series is not something I would look at on paper and watch right away. But through the collective of watchers suggestions it is a great experience

Watching this series for the first time through your videos. You mentioned at the start here you hope the heaven place is real and not metaphorical and about the journey, but personally I hope they never reach heaven. I hope she sees Fern aging, realizes that she's repeating her past mistakes, and instead of focusing on the past, she focuses on the present, and making the most of the time she does have with Fern. Not only do I think that's a better message to send to viewers, but I also think Flamme and Himmel both would want Frieren to do that.
