The thing about the lady summoning the bodies at their peak is a mistranslation, it's not that she called zen'in toji because that was him at his peak, it's that she has to call them by their name given to them at birth, hence why she called zen'in toji and not fushiguro toji. But tbh the mistranslation is more fun so i still like to think this is peak toji since there's nothing to really disprove it teehee

They've explained this before, but a sorcerer should be able to fight all curses up to 1 grade above them so a grade 1 sorcerer is expected to be able to defeat at least some special grade curses.

Man I really wish jjk would stop making the first 15 mins of every ep some weak bs and then hitting us with the one thing we wanna see 2 mins before the episode ends. The way this episode ended in its last min is the way it could’ve and should’ve just started right after the scene with Toji. Hells paradise shits on this show lmao they wasted hells paradise’s budget for Nanami lololol nanami has better animation in this epsiode than the “paradise” of hells paradise aka the island looks more bland than nanami this entire episode. When S2 of hells paradise starts with its hopefully 10x better production than what we got for S1 watch all you jjk fans try to hop on lolololol. Nanami and Mei Mei are grade 1 as far as I remember, however sorcerers are grade for grade stronger than curses, so grade 1 sorcerers can take on special grades. That's why Nanami gave Mahito a run for his money despite being ranked lower. I have faith in Mei Mei.

Jjk has 3x as many episodes as hells paradise did and it’s still more boring lmao. Any given second of a hells paradise episode just has you far more on the edge of your seat than this half kid show lololol. Watching chobe unlock Tao had me 10x more at the edge of my seat than the fight in this episode or itadori fighting grass hoppers for half an episode as if anybody cares to see that lololol hells paradise beats this show all day and it’s way more mature and doesn’t bore us with little kid stuff like mr pony tail beating both those chicks up lolol

When the season is fully out and people don’t have to wait a week to watch each episode, this arc will be regarded as one of the best in new gen. Also as someone who’s read both jjk and hells paradise, I still hold to the opinion that jjk is way better

Does that opinion of yours still hold if your only looking at the first 127 chapters of jjk and comparing it to the full 127 chapter story of hells paradise ? Or are you including it’s twice as long story which gives more time to build off of ?

Special Grades are specifically described as "Being able to take over an entire country single handedly". So Nanami is strong, but he isn't *that* strong. Though it is said that the Grading system, aside from Special Grade,s is outdated and inaccurate, so not all Grade 1s are created equal. But Nanami is stronger than the average Grade 1 by a longshot, and is probably the third strongest since Mei Mei and Maki's uncle Naobito (the old man with the pointy mustache) are both stronger than Nanami.

They made Nobara look really bad in this episode. First being effectively defeated by concussion - a mundane and thus very uncommon thing to happen to a character in an anime with superpowers. And then, as if to add insult to injury, Nanami arrives, tanks everything that dude has to offer with no damage whatsoever, and just swats him like a fly.

About the special grade, of the sorcerers there are only 4 special grade: Gojo / Geto / Yuta okotsu and Yuki Tsukumo, the girl who trained Todo

I feel like you are forgetting this but the ranking system for Sorcerers is not in line with the ranking system for curses. A grade 1 sorcerer is about equal to Special grade curse (so they can comfortably fight Grade 1 curses and be able to survive Special grade encounter)

This is missing nuance. A grown adult will often refer to a teenager/young adult as nii-chan/nee-chan. Similarly a kid will often refer to a young adult/teenager as nii-sama/nee-sama.

She got hit by a perfect sucker punch to the jaw, and anyone with a brain is vulnerable to a concussion. Honestly, she's tough as hell if she managed to remain conscious after a hit like that and get on her feet as quickly as she did. I see no reason to think less of her just because Haruta got straight up stat-checked by a pissed off Nanami in overtime mode.

Regarding the grandma and toji, just some more insight. Toji having a body that holds 0 curse energy due to the heavenly pact is also the reason why his body retains his memory and is stronger than the person soul. Like the granny said, the soul is usually the one that contains the memory, not the body but in this case it's the body contain both the memory and the soul kinda. Another thing that you would probably appreciate later is the fact that the dude getting mauled by nanami has these 6 tattoos under his eyes. If you ever rewatch you would probably notice something else about them
