If you want a good long and sus anime to watch on patreon, watch the monogatari series. You can start with Bakemonogatari or the Kizumonogatari movies. The usual order for a first watch would be bake>kizu>nise>neko(kuro)>second season>hana>tsuki>owari>koyomi>owari 2>zokuowari. This is a mix of the original novels release order, with the anime release order.

As much as I love monogatari series, I would not recommend him this because of the insane amount of references to anime, culture and wordplay. But I do think that watching kizumonogatari might be fine, since it's not filled with those as much as the rest of the series.

I agree with him ^ The monogatari series is hard to get into. It's not bad by any means but it just doesn't have the instant kick that you get that makes you want to know more immediately. At least from my experience

._. I'd rather not traumatize him. Shimoneta is too "soon" for him. Unless he watched at least 3-4 horny animes, he cannot even attempt watching shimoneta. That thing is just on a league of its own.

Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri. This is a weird one, part JSDF recruitment add, part colonization of the new world, except we're supposed to root for the conquistadors exploiting the natives? Well, not literaly, but the vibes are there at times. The initial premise is cool though.

I love the parasyte manga. The anime has worse art like most things with body horror, and the way they depict some of the scenes are changed including giving the protagonist glasses in the anime. But the anime isn't bad considering the way junji ito's works are adapted it's of least scary.

Monogatari series is something that is bad to recommend to people who are not that verse in anime. Most will probably find it too boring as it is dialogue heavy with little to no action at times. I love its story and characters but even I won't recommend it to my friends and other people who I know do watch anime.

Something you might find interesting. the reason he feels closer with Aurora is because Every time he goes into a battle he's trying to have a conversation a flow with his opponent however no one has been strong enough to answer any of his questions or hold a conversation with him. That's what he meant when he said that the hero doesn't answer questions because she has no heart so she Couldn't hold a conversation with him. I know most people see him as sort of like a reality altering God because everything he says happens; however, they also forget that he is also a grand master of almost every type of combat to a ridiculous extreme. And even then, the reason he learned magic so easily is because when he was born, he could see it he could see how it moved and flowed and how it altered and how he could change it and all the ways it worked. That's the only real power he got without hard work just the ability to see magic in a way no one else could.
