Maybe I can get you to react to the Symphogear openings and endings (5 OPs and 5 EDs), if you are willing to do so, just tell me on Discord and you get the YouTube links :D Would be really nice, as it is sadly quite overlooked here in the west :(

Symphogear song (note juste op and Ed) are really good

The 1000 year blood war is just the end of Bleach. The original show reached the source material and it ended up creating real trouble with filler arcs. (Though a few of those were good) This led to it stopping for a while before now restarting with the 1000 year blood war arc. Supposedly, this arc will be more fleshed out than the manga version of the arc.

Oh, as for the video you watched of the Bleach Openings, you can honestly tell which are the arcs and filler by how your reacted to each song

Yeah, some anime you just have to give a chance. Dolls' Frontline I started watching mostly for the cute girls but after the first episode, I was hooked by the potential storyline. And the opening is just awesome as all get out.

I don't know if this was ever recommanded for you to check it but it would be awesome to check the song called 'oblivious' by Kalafina (the same band that did the ending -Magia- from Puella Magi Madoka Magica). It's the first ending of a set of movies called Kara no Kyoukai, were the band did all the endings for each movie. They're all amazing. What would be very nice of an experience is to check the live version of the song, from their 10th anniversary live. I can tell you this is something you have never heard before!!! I forgot to say but the band is composed of three women who sang together with almost perfect synchronization... And their voices are ethearal... Kalafina is such an underrated band! They did many openings and endings for anime too.

Psycho-pass and Parasyte are kind of horror, but not quite like basic western horror.
