Definitely worth to watch it, DITF and violet evergarden both are one of the biggest anime in 2018, 2018 was a miracle year in anime history, way too many god tier exist.

I not recommending you watch the series. I AM recommending you watch an episode or two so you can see what the pilot and co-pilot are doing in the Mech's cockpit.

I've said it many time, I love the hype you get, Luke, but this intense, calm enjoyment comes through as very appealing, too. One doesn't need to go apeshite everything something is amazing. Sometimes...you just feel the intensity, while holding a bit still, right? Also, if you're digging getting into emotional mech animes, Witch From Mercury was a real good ride, and the OP and ED are incredible, ESPECIALLY the ED!!! When the ED song plays in my playlist, I usually stop what I'm doing, just to soak in the music. The visuals are, well...let's just say I never skipped the end credits, once I watched it the first time.

If you enjoyed the vocals from the opening on the anime version I highly recommend another song by that same artist Mika Nakashima, it’s called Yuki No Hana very beautiful song in my opinion. She also did it on The First Take as well and it’s 🤌🤌

Watch it please its fire trust. even tho everyone says the ending is not the best. without spoiling it its about kids who fight robo dinosaurs by "piloting" a franxx (the robots) and the pink haired girl and the main guy are special

Darling in the Franxx is a great example of the biggest problem in anime, good concepts that start strong and devolve into trainwrecks by the end. It's an entertaining trainwreck, mind you, but not as entertaining as Code Geass's slow motion trainwreck energy.

I actually like Darling in the Franxx a lot. It has a special place in my heart honestly. And I have bad taste so maybe that’s why, but i really like it and think it’s actually pretty good. Also I don’t like the ending a lot but I don’t think it’s horrible and ruins the entire anime so I’d say give it all a watch.

I don't really remember much of it other than the main story and that the main female character was the most popular character for the upcoming few years and would be a good runner up even now (for a good reason). There are definitely both action packed and emotional parts. It's probably one of those anime that you watch once, but probably not twice. On the other hand, it has a fanbase so that may not be the case. It has an ending so there is no cliffhanger, but it's the type that no person alive could predict.
