Basically, Mahito (the curse) messes people up by altering the shape of their soul, and he can only do this when he touches them. In a domain where attacks are guaranteed to hit, he is able to touch his opponent with 100% success rate. This is why domains are inherently difficult to break out of but easy to break into, because there's no reason why you want to break into a domain where your opponent's attack is guaranteed to hit you. Yuji is an exception because Sukuna already warned Mahito not to touch his soul. When Yuji broke into the domain, Mahito touched Yuji's, and therefore Sukuna's soul, and Sukuna retaliated by slicing him up.

Some animes have very high rewatch value cause esch time you rewatch it you see more stuff you previously didnt pay attention to. One case like this is when you watch AoT and then go back and start noticing the little pieces of forshadowing and symbology and its like you are watching it for the first time

first of all.. im pretty sure Nanami already worked with jujustu sorcerers before the ecene with bread/business company :D he just disliked the normal job even more so he came back.. Itadori pass out cause he had literally dozen of holes from last episode and lost quite alot of blood.. and not 100% sure but from my understanding Mahito (the human curse) domain expansion has a connection with peoples souls who are trapped inside with him so as soon as itadori step inside Mahito automaticly touched his soul/Sukuna soul aswell.. no idea how would Itadori domain expansiou looks like but i would love to see it :D

Domain expansion is basically their "inner world" which is essentially themed after their poowers. For example, Jogos domain expansion was a volcano, Gojos represents infinity, and Mahitos represents his ability to configure ones soul by touching them with his hands. A domain expansion is not able to be done by all curses and sorcerers though, and they have to learn it or else it will be incomplete. It's what you can think of as a sorcerer or curses Final power of sorts, and as we all know in anime, the final power only comes with time or training.

I honestly don't really like Itadori, because as you said he just wants to save everyone, and I can't relate to someone with a hero complex. Thankfully, unlike some other protagonists (Naruto, Deku etc...) his ideals don't stop him from doing what's necessary if he has to, so he's bearable, but I can't agree with (or understand) someone whose ideals and goals aren't grounded in reality. Like Nanami said, his goal is impossible to fulfill and he's just gonna kill himself trying, so why do it in the first place?

You're missing out on a lot of great characters and stories if not relating to a character makes you not like them. And why is it a problem that his goals aren't grounded in reality anyway? I'm sure a lot of the greatest people in history had, and achieved, goals that "weren't grounded in reality". Plus, we saw in this episode of difficult the path Itadori chose is. I have far more respect for someone that chooses a path knowing it will be a painful road, than for someone that just chooses the easy way out. You also forgot one very important part. Itadori is gonna die anyway. He's been sentenced to death. Showing compassion and helping others despite that makes him far more compelling and noble than someone who would try to run away.

I don't miss out on great anime, because not liking the mc doesn't mean I won't watch the anime itself. As long as the other characters and the story are interesting enough (literally what's happening with this anime). And I'm not missing out on "great characters" if I literally dislike them. How can I find someone I don't like "great"? There are other things that can compensate for (in my opinion) bad characters, like animation (DS has the most basic plot and characters ever but the animation carries it into my top 20) or plot (JJK). Now, if all the characters are bad, the animation sucks and the plot is boring, then I drop. But it would be very hard to find an anime with all of those points that's a "great story".

Special Grade is later explained in the manga as "Strong enough to take over an entire country single handedly", so it isn't necessarily true that having Domain makes you a Special Grade. There are plenty of characters that have Domains yet are not strong enough to be Special Grade just as there are a few that are not explicitly classified as Special Grade despite their power being substantial enough to take over and entire country single handedly. For example, there is one character that is explicitly stated to have a cursed technique that is capable of opposing/is effective against a Special Grade sorcerer, meaning that even though this character in particular is not explicitly given the title of Special Grade, they are basically an "honorary" Special Grade. There are also certain instances where non Special Grade characters can gain Special Grade level power, though this rarely happens at all.

There's just something so silly about watching an anime with demon-like curses that kill people and sorcerers that fight them but then saying you dislike the main character because his goals aren't "grounded in reality." I get what you are saying, but I still can't help but laugh.
