At this point I doubt you're gonna read it but still, don't skip the "recaps", you're missing setup for the episode. For this episode in particular it isn't a recap at all.

As for the 1000 men wedges,each one in grants the vitality and strength of a thousand men, and she has a 120 of them. I can't fully remember if I'm full accurate about that though.

Every time I look at your reactions I smile, knowing that you still don't know what to expect. This show broke me inside, and just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, the movie came out... and when I thought I knew the show, season 2 came out.. I can't wait

I mean z.z I finished both season + movie and I disagree. I gave s1 , a 10/10 and 9/10 for s2 and 7/10 for movie. I skipped the recaps and I don't feel that I lost anything. IF he does skip the recaps I don't think he losses that much anyway

That was my thoughts as well, there can't be a white whistle that is straight up evil. White whistles are revered after all.

If you skipped the recaps, how do you even know if you missed anything..? Regardless, Im not considering it a big loss for these reactions if he keeps doing it. From what I recall season 2 basically stopped doing it the way season 1 does with recaps. He's missing some tid-bits, but it isn't story critical.

I agree that the recaps should not be skipped, mostly because how the amazon player flags those and how anime designs recaps. They are never a 100% repeat and usually remind you of details that play a role in the episode. This isn't all to relevant if you binge the show in a short amount of time but for a reactor that juggles multiple shows and has weeks between episodes it's easy to forget details in shows as proven a lot during his AoT reactions.

The fact that Riko was essentially undead and on an unknown time limit (I didn't really watch much past this point for various reasons) was a massive twist in my book. So the fact that it isn't considered a twist is really strange to me. That being said, we're getting close to the point where i fell off the Made in Abyss bandwagon, so i cant wait to see where it goes from here! Also, Ozen really creeped me out when I first watched this. I'm starting to like her more as I gain a more adult perspective, and can sorta understand how Luke feels about her. She's definitely irredeemable though.

that's what it says, though it's not 100% confirmed that's EXACTLY what they do, or they do something similar to that but it's how they came up with how to describe it. As we know in this episode, not every works as described, since they're largely guessing at what a relic does by observing it's effects. it does boost her strength/vitality though (she nearly died retrieving the first one and ended up having to use it to survive her injuries and bought it when she got back to town, and has been collecting them ever since), unclear how much each.

Are you really asking if its fun to watch you when you are so engaged with the show that you cant find a moment to pause? Yes, yes it is. You are clearly loving the journey and I can already assure you, you will love each episode more than the previous one. Also if you are looking for more masterpieces with arguably the best written characters in anime then Hunter x Hunter, Vinland Saga and Mob Psycho 100 are waiting in line.

not literally 1000. You can get 2 of these wedges in the Made in Abyss game and they add +480 damage to your melee attacks. To put that in perspective, Blaze Reap is about 160 damage, so about 3 times stronger than Lyza's signature weapon.

You can say it's not a big loss that's fine, but there's still no real reason to skip it regardless. There's a lot of lines you could take out and it wouldnt effect the rest of the story massively but those lines still add to the experience. I think people underestimate how powerful it is when a good show sets the tone for an episode correctly, in this the rising of the music that sometimes continues into the episode and the ominous narrator do a lot. Also for one of the episodes if he skips the "recap" it's literally just gonna cut out actual important content.

It's not a massive deal, but what it does offer is definitely worth the extra 30 seconds you spend watching it imo, so there's really no reason to skip it.

I'm loving seeing Luke discover these characters and their multifaceted personalities. It's a good time. This is also another reason why this is better off of twitch, so that he gets lost in the scene, rather than distracted or taken out of the moment by words scrolling on the side and trying to keep up and make sure people don't feel left out

Tbh I didn't really like this fight because there was just no tension to it. I never really thought she was seriously gonna do anything to them, only that she was testing them (in her own weird way). Also why was Reg bleeding? He's a robot.

Ozen is great, her character design and personality are so unique. I think the thing about her is the lack of empathy. She doesn’t care about the fact that she’s scaring and hurting these children—if it teaches them how to survive in the Abyss, then it needs to be done. She’s pragmatic and curious to the point of appearing heartless, but however ruthless she can be, she knows the Abyss is even MORE ruthless.
