Hope you watch the movie after this is finished up. I just watched it last week finally and it was very good.

o k

yeaaaah !

Ara Araragi

Yeah, his full name is Itadori Yuji. His first name is Yuji, but the family name comes before the given name in Japan. Calling someone by their first name usually shows familiarity. There's also honorifics (-san, -kun, -chan, etc) that can be added to the end of a name that show different levels of formality.

Wizardo Keebler

You gotta watch the movie once you are eventually done with the first season, the movie has a lot of info on an important character.

Reennji

The techniques that Itadori mentions are from other series: Railgun: Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun) Bankai: Bleach Rasengan: Naruto Dodon Ray/Kamehameha: Dragon Ball

FinalMasterM

If you love Starship Troopers, then Blue Gender should be on your watch list.

Jihen Ajengui

Demon slayer should be next !!!! We just love that show and you should try it out!

AppyBappy

I think Itadori was referencing Rei gun from YuYu Hakusho. The way his finger was seems like it was that

Dethrox

no.. Gojo noticed the curse coming right before he spoke to the assistant to stop the car i believe :D i dont think he can see the future :D

Taraster33

Next episode is going to be so fun! You will get to see Gojo in action.

You should watch Monster next, it will follow the theme of darker animes

BlekDimon

Monster is a slow burner, but it has one of the best antagonists in all of media.

Benjamin Siimes

Man, next episode is gonna be hype, Gojo gets to let loose a little, such a treat

Brian

I saw Starship Troopers in the theater 😏 also I would suggest Cowboy Bebop English dub. I understand recency bias and everyone wanting newer shows but that is an absolute classic. Timeless.

Overflag

do 2 episodes everytime

titofox

my all time top 1 anime. Is one of the best shows in every single aspect.

If you like training, you will probably LOVE Naruto + Naruto Shippuden. As flawed as it is, the characters are so easy to love and the character growth pretty much keeps going up until the final episodes. You have to be sure to skip the filler episodes which are absolute garbage 99/100 times. There is the occasional 1% gem, but I'm sure your audience will sort out the diamonds for you. Alternatively, just pick any sports anime series and you'll see the same thing: hard training reaping long-term rewards. I personally like Hajime no Ippo because it's all about boxing.

CdrCain

Your comment about the characters is one of the reasons this is one of my favorite shows as well. All the characters feel "real" and not just like side characters. Every character in this show feels fleshed out and unique even though we barely know them yet. Each time we get a new character our response is "I want to know more about this person" and that's how you know the show has great character writing.

Bhen

see people mention naruto for the training and story telling, at that point just watch hunter hunter instead

Nathan McCabe

You said you like training arcs in what you watch so I have recommendations. The Faraway Paladin, My Hero Academia, One Piece (but only on flashbacks that give new info), Soul Eater, Fire Force (from the same writer of Soul Eater).

Frentzy

I instantly thought about one piece and naruto the moment he said 'training'. But I forgot hunter hunter is better than both.

*Megumi reaches into the concrete ground* Morpheus: "He's starting to believe."

BlekDimon

Hxh and OP are two the best of longer battle shounens, but Hxh for sure is the better choice since it has only 150eps.

Dethrox

go subscribe to his youtube channel and maybe he do 2 ep..

Some0neElse

If you love watching training in movies then Shonen Anime is your place - Almost every classic shonen anime has atleast 1 training arc where the main character is getting power up

Tekbox

Loved your expression when Itadori agreed to the fight to the death. Perfectly encapsulated my feelings as well. Like seriously sometimes he can be a bit slow on the uptake.

BlackRoseMoni

Imagine watching this show, or any show really, as it airs. It's so hard when you have cliff hangers or just excited for how the fights finish. I'm loving rewatching this with you. Your facial expressions and comments for this show is how most people feel about it. It's hard to pick favorites for this anime. If you end up watching the movie after finishing this season, you'll meet Yuta. They mention him a couple times throughout the season. I say that because you asked about him in Episode 5's video. I do think watching the movie before diving into the next season, since it comes out this summer, will help with some backstory on things as well.

Travis

my hero academia is on the longer side(longer than any anime youve watched so far) but if you like the training and story of someone growing into something huge from absolutely nothing, my hero is that at its peak. :)

...really? lol. I'd put even something like Eyeshield 21 ahead of it in that regard. Well, it's a better show overall, too.

jigi

when you love when a charachter becomes from the weakest and most hatet to the strongest and most respected charachters you need to watch Naruto

Jean-Philippe Forest

Am I the only one who thinks Luke would enjoy kenichi: the strongest disciplle

Hououin Kyouma

As I mentioned earlier someone at the bottom level training to be strong is 99.99% Shonen anime. I guess you will like all the Shonen anime. Sadly, Luke will never get the Yu Yu Hakusho (Spirit Gun), Bleach (Bankai), Naruto (Rasengan), Dragon Ball (Dodon Ray), and DBZ (Kamehameha) references since he never watched them.
