Hells paradise would definitely be a good reaction, but personally I'd say Oshi no Ko would be the best new anime currently airing for you to react to

JJK is just using somewhat common way of explaining stuff. By having complete newbie asking the questions (in this case Itadori) they can explain basic stuff and how the powers work while not breaking the anmosphere

Hell's paradise, Chainsaw Man et Jujutsu Kaisen aren't from the same mangaka, but they are popularly put together because of the ambiance and the genre of those shows

dude season 1 is fantastic but season 2 is really where the show will be taken to a new level, im so hyped for you to watch. The arc that season 2 will center around is like return to shiganshina levels of insanity.

Also if you like the world building and fighting style of this show you would really like naruto as one of your longer animes to start. You can tell JJK author took a lot of inspiration here and there.

honestly, if you like how the tone/mood changes in this, and how the main character can joke around and then immediately become serious and badass, you should definitely watch One Piece

I think he would enjoy One Piece, but should get some shorter shows down first. There's plenty of good content left without such an extreme commitment.

He said he really liked the fast pace of deathnote, so I'm not sure One Piece would be a good pick. In my opinion it's too slow, that's also the reason I dropped it..

Itadori's my fave too. I never like the Protagonists in shounen anime/manga. I've always gravitated towards other characters in shounen. Itadori is my first, and he is precious to me. :) About why he couldn't switch back... it's still a speculation, even now as a reader, I guess, but I'd say your line of thinking is what most of us guessed as well. And yes, WATCH HELL'S PARADISE.

its cool if you dislike parasite, but Idk why you think he would dislike it he enjoyed silent voice, your name, steins gate, and DN. He doesn't seem to dislike the mystery/drama genera. Although i think jjk is still definitely the better show between the two.

yeah tanjiro is like the most bland mc ever, theres absolutely nothing cool or original about him. cool story and mc but dont act like hes best mc of all time when hes like a wall
