Personally, I would like Made in Abyss to replace this slot once we're done with Chainsaw man. It's a very very good show and I think it'd be up your alley.

I will continue to recommend watching at least the beginnings of Blood Blockade Battlefront. It is a hilarious series, not particularly cheeky but more zany and situationally hilarious moments and amazing fights, as well as some really awesome characters imo.

The future devil demands to live in his right eye, is because it wants to be in the front seat when the day comes, and it's been explained in the eternal devil that devils can't breach the contract they agreed or they die, a feind is a devil taking over a human corpse, in this rate all can be told is that there are devils(ie angel)、feinds(ie power)，misery(denji), and makima's true identity would be a spolier.

erased is a very good mystery anime with supernatural elements, would fit well into a friday slot and if youre currently enjoying steins gate, youll enjoy erased

Honestly I think a break from heavy stuff would be good before jumping into something like Madoka Magica (still worth a watch) So how about a comedy? -Bocchi the Rock -Asobi Asobase -Nichijou -Spy x Family

I know it'll be a little but, but maybe Made in Abyss (plus movies) could replace Death Note?

A cigar you cut the "fire end", usually because a cigar takes so long to smoke that you might want to take a break from smoking but save the rest of the cigar for later. But also expensive cigars you have to cut the one end you light before igniting it since the "protective cap" doesn't let you.

Not sure why crunchyroll changed the translation for the future devils line, the original translation was better imo, "Your death in the future will *fucking* rule". Fits the future devil character so much better and is a lot cooler, they just changed it for a more direction translation but it doesn't carry over as well, again imo. A poll would be better I think, the last poll got 34k votes, comments get no where near that much input. Also i'd love to see Mushoku Tensei or Made in Abyss but Violet Evergarden is also great and a bit shorter.

Both translation versions of the future devil are not particularly good as they both are ambiguous as to why the future devil is willing to help Aki. In the manga he asks to live in his right eye so that he can see Aki's future with his own eyes because he knows that Aki will die in the worst possible way. A poll would be easier to tally up votes. A bunch of random comments with spelling errors or multiple ways to type out the name of an anime would be a nightmare to sort.

they actually explained how the contracts work in an earlier episodes haha, the eternity devil was trying to make a contract that they would free everyone if they kill denji, and denji said something like why listen to it its probably lying, but then they explained that contracts with devils are absolute and breaking the contract will result in death of the violator whether its the human or the devil.

I feel like the end of a reaction should be mainly used for talking about the events of the episode, instead of pondering on how the show will end. It's something that's been bothering me for a while. because I'd love an actual breakdown of each episode.

I really think Overlord would be perfect for this slot, especially when it becomes a 2 episode slot. Though if that’s too many seasons for this slot, then Eminence In Shadow is great and it only has one season that has just finished.

I'm greatly in favour of Overlord like the others, although if you want something shorter (one season and a movie, at the moment) you could consider Youjo Senki/Saga of Tanya the Evil as well? Both excellent, evil, Isekai anime

The change was actually them fixing a mistranslation The Future Devil has always said Aki's death would be the worse, it was just Crunchyroll's English translation that had him say it would rule. It seems they somehow mixed up 最悪 with 最高.

Not really. its ~25 episodes in total and a movie and the pacing is done very well. So I think its a perfectly good option especially considering that most anime's are 25 episodes at least. There are good ones at 12 but just fewer of them. Even Madoka magica that people want him to watch also is 13 episodes and a movie and then theres the side anime also if he decided to watch that

They can probably finish off the whole public safety arc in the second season since the first season already adapted volumes 1 to 5 of the 11 volume arc.

I'm aware, but my point is just that in english the original translation still gets the point across, it conveys the same meaning but just sounds a lot cooler and (imo) fits the character better. Also if so they probably heard 最高 since the future devil repeats it so many times just before, still a little silly for a hired translation but mistakes happen, not a big deal in this case anyway.

They are probably not listening to the audio to make the subtitle translations. They would more likely be translating Japanese subtitles or working off of a Japanese transcript. So it's more understandable if they messed up the kanji meaning.

Deals with devils can’t be broken. The one who break the deal will die. This is addressed in the episode where they’re facing the Infinite Devil.

Nott only that, MAPPA added bonus things to the standard 24 minute run, they'll probably cover all of it nicely with a few minutes left of bonus scenes. Also, adapting the rest for S2 will make the story better imo, the pacing will be easier to follow and a lot better.

Aki was using the Future Devil's power to get a peek into the future and anticipate the Ghost Devil's hits. That's why he fought so smoothly. That doesn't prevent him getting snookered and overwhelmed though. On top of his general lack of care for his own very short remaining life, he went in overconfident with his power.
